03/11/2006 11:23 | Ldr are showing as up 0.5 on the toplists. hope this continues. Also hope we get a positive announcement soon so to send the share price rocketing. | xavico
02/11/2006 10:47 | It would seem the only way to get into this share is by buying small amounts and building up a stake that way. Anyone who's brave enough to buy above the nms will pay a premium although that in itself should see the share price rise significantly. my fingers are itching - as good as sign as any technical analysis that news is coming soon | xavico
01/11/2006 16:38 | if we can get past the 30p level then we stand a good chance of a run up to 40p and more. | xavico
01/11/2006 11:40 | It will keep going up as long as there are these little or larger buys. The only trouble is the mms are apparently not allowing the larger buys to go through. This could rocket if the news is good. Other competitors who want an easy way in to some of the biggest blue chips may well be interested in ldr. Given ldr get revenue in, a take-over may be a wise investment for those who wish to develop their own business but who dont have access to these companies. If that were the case then a 2m cap would not be much. In my view ldr is a little gem providing it can strike the right deal. | xavico
01/11/2006 10:50 | up it goes | holgerl
01/11/2006 10:43 | same old pattern as before the results...a single buy leads to a price rise...little stock available and 'possible' financing priced in... | ![]() mister md
01/11/2006 09:48 | Let's hope we get a positive announcement soon. Has anyone emailed the ldr. I tried about a week ago but go no response. Perhaps if others tried as well they may get an answer. | xavico
31/10/2006 21:37 | i tried to buy 10k a few days ago - no chance, not even 5k at the current price | holgerl
31/10/2006 20:16 | Try and buy 50k at under 40p....not a chance. Any moderate size buying will see these move very rapidly to 50p. Still under 2 million cap at that price. Seems a good bet to me. DYOR | ![]() knitcraft
31/10/2006 17:00 | i think s/one knows s/thing. Hopefully we should have news soon. The share price can run up in a matter of minutes. I still think a premium is on the cards. | xavico
31/10/2006 16:10 | up a bit on no trades | ![]() mister md
31/10/2006 09:55 | Topvest - we'll see. LDR have a whole host of blue chip companies on its books. A measely 1.4m cap with revenue coming in albeit not as quick as may ldr and the banks would like. I think ldr would sell for around 40p per share giving a market value at 2m. Of course it may not happen like that but i'd be sirprised if it didnt. | xavico
30/10/2006 20:54 | I think you are kidding yourself here. They are not in a strong bargaining position to sell the company at a premium. Sure, the company could do very well in the future, but it needs extra financing which may be difficult if they are to escape dilution. | ![]() topvest
30/10/2006 11:51 | They haven't run out of cash. It could well be taken out at a premium as, if the story is true, the buyers know it can make good money and the current management wont sell it for pea-nuts. They know the co. could make a lot of money as it did before. A buy-out in present conditions could be fairly positive. | xavico
26/10/2006 20:56 | I don't see how it can possibly look good! There is no way this is going to get taken out at a premium if they have run out of cash. | ![]() topvest
26/10/2006 15:05 | Have it on what is usually trusted info, that one (or both together) of the two stakebuilders are putting a deal to the board. This will give them control and also the finance required. Makes good sense and notice in the last announcement it was stated they were talking to their financial advisers as well as to their bank. It is unusual to state that, purely on a refinancing. Looks good to me. | ![]() knitcraft
26/10/2006 14:45 | No response yet. If I dont hear today it will be Monday before I can chase them up. | xavico
26/10/2006 14:01 | any repsonse from the company yet? When I emailed them for results date I asked them about any possible fundraising in the pipeline and they ignored that part of my email | ![]() mister md
26/10/2006 13:52 | Let's hope the Board keeps its size 12s out of any further mess. it's blooming anoying for us shareholders to have a share go up only for it to be knocked down by the Board for no apparent reason. | xavico
26/10/2006 13:44 | "The Board of the Company has noted today's dramatic share price rise." Have they also noted the significantly more dramatic share price fall since 2005 ?! | ![]() mister md
26/10/2006 08:39 | We're where we were before the sudden share price rise - methinks the news will be positive when it does come. Somebody's gotta come out of the dark and give some clarity to what's going on. I've emailed the company and suggest others doe as well so that we can try to get as much information about what has happened. | xavico
26/10/2006 08:21 | the new share options exercisable at 40p were granted just 2 months ago...hope they will put out some statements that move the share price the right way... | ![]() mister md
26/10/2006 08:05 | I still dont see why the need for an announcement. What is the connection between financing talks and the sharp upward share price movement. I still think something is going on behind the scenes eg a power struggle - so that the rns was done to put off a possible take-over. Anyway, having thought more about the financing it may simply mean that credit will be extended to allow LDR to seek more rapid growth. The jigsaw has set to be completed. | xavico
26/10/2006 07:14 | there was some bright spots (growth-wise) i noticed: Chairman David Owen told the Daily Post that Landround saw more predictable growth coming from its rewards business, which was seeing slow but steady progress. In Ireland, Buy and Fly! partners now number around 10 with a major supermarket, a major department store, a hotels group, a utility company and a mobile phone network all involved. A credit card partnership is also anticipated in the near future. In the UK, the programme is anchored around the Morgan Stanley Buy and Fly! credit card. In the business to business market in the UK, its Passport2Profit scheme, where it partners with larger manufacturers to promote sales into the independent retail sector, is "gathering momentum" with two new manufacturers having recently come on board. /... On the company's turnaround strategy, he said: "I spoke to all of the staff this week and I told them this was the end of the beginning." | ![]() andrbea
26/10/2006 06:25 | Directors were buying shed loads a month ago, not having my shares cheap | holgerl |
