pretty boring stuff really. It will be a long time before we see profit and a dividend - until then the share price will float about imho.

Happy New Year to LDR investors - promising start!

youre probably right but because the directors put their own money in they wanted a discount - there is no other reason. They should be reported to the FSA but nothing would be done anyway. I got no reply from LDR when I questioned them on why the made such an announcement. I think they know the company is going to turn around and they wanted to line their pockets with a few cheap shares. The mms helped them of course. But in the long term all bodes well for this to be a recovery stock.

Ldr are showing as up 0.5 on the toplists. hope this continues. Also hope we get a positive announcement soon so to send the share price rocketing.

It will keep going up as long as there are these little or larger buys. The only trouble is the mms are apparently not allowing the larger buys to go through. This could rocket if the news is good.

Other competitors who want an easy way in to some of the biggest blue chips may well be interested in ldr. Given ldr get revenue in, a take-over may be a wise investment for those who wish to develop their own business but who dont have access to these companies. If that were the case then a 2m cap would not be much.

In my view ldr is a little gem providing it can strike the right deal.

Let's hope we get a positive announcement soon. Has anyone emailed the ldr. I tried about a week ago but go no response. Perhaps if others tried as well they may get an answer.

Topvest - we'll see. LDR have a whole host of blue chip companies on its books. A measely 1.4m cap with revenue coming in albeit not as quick as may ldr and the banks would like. I think ldr would sell for around 40p per share giving a market value at 2m. Of course it may not happen like that but i'd be sirprised if it didnt.

I still dont see why the need for an announcement. What is the connection between financing talks and the sharp upward share price movement. I still think something is going on behind the scenes eg a power struggle - so that the rns was done to put off a possible take-over. Anyway, having thought more about the financing it may simply mean that credit will be extended to allow LDR to seek more rapid growth. The jigsaw has set to be completed.

Well it remains to be seen what kind of impact the news will have. Clearly it took the wind out of the sails today. Are LDR talking about a placing - that would dilute the company but get rid of the debt and also possible crippling bank charges. What price would the placing be at? If not a placing then is it simply agreeing more favourable terms? That would be positive.

blooming typical. Why on earth did LDR put that announcement in. It doesnt really make any sense. How was today's "dramatic" rise connected in any way to the possibility of LDR's financing? A brilliant example of self-assassination.
