25/10/2006 09:24 | its going up quite a bit on non-sizeable trades too my friend! | mister md
24/10/2006 12:48 | This one is able to go up 50% on a sizeable trade so there is plenty of upside to this share. My own view is that 70p is not an unrealistic target. If the co starts to go into profit then it will be worth far more than the current market cap. | xavico
24/10/2006 11:27 | good to see that small buys are pushing it higher again! | mister md
24/10/2006 11:26 | I think we're due some news on this one - more buying by one or other major shareholders would be positivie for the share price. | xavico
20/10/2006 12:42 | Having looked at the results which to be fair to the new management did not come as a shock it seems that revenue is increasing and if their cost cutting excercise has gone according to plan we should see further improvements in the next set of results. Obviously making a loss is not too impressive and so that will have a negative impact. This is a share that will return to its hey-day though the process may be somewhat laborious. It really could do with some excitement in the form of a take-over/ major shareholder investment / major contract wins. If that happens then likely to see a corresponding increase in share value. Good luck to all. | xavico
18/10/2006 19:39 | ..and indeed there wasn't much action..in fact none at all ! | mister md
18/10/2006 08:45 | at first glance not very spectacular...but nothing too shocking either..probably won't be much shareprice action then | mister md
18/10/2006 08:37 | well results are here...any views? | mister md
17/10/2006 11:35 | I/ve just heard that interims will be announced tomorrow. This info came directly from the company. My own thoughts: they may use the interims to allay blame for the past poor performance on those who have left the co. and say that a new era is now under way. have to wait and see though. Fingers crossed for positive news. | xavico
13/10/2006 11:46 | 0.5p fall and the spread is even greater (now 2p). Either the mms dont want people to trade this one or they are scared the results will take them by sirprise. The stake builders will probably know this co. has a sound base and that it is far too cheap at the mo. Potential for a take/over as not expensive and could do well in the future. | xavico
12/10/2006 18:55 | good results at the same time as this ftse rally would be nice! | mister md
12/10/2006 15:43 | Sure to be good IMHO after those two stakebuilders raised their stakes. | knitcraft
12/10/2006 15:41 | Mister, Info from fool.com is incorrect. I've spoken with Landround and the interims will be released later in the month. As they are in a closed period they can not say too much but I did learn that they seemed quite positive about their ventures into europe - tho' told to wait until the interims are out. If anyone else knows anybody at Landround then may be worth giving a call to see what info can be got. here's hoping the results will be positive. I dont expect miracles but a positive statement from the chairman would be a good indicator. | xavico
08/10/2006 13:56 | Funny, just saw this on fool.co.uk site. So Thursday is results day? Notable announcements next week Monday: YouGov Tuesday: Air Partner, Burberry, Carphone Warehouse, Sainsbury and N Brown Wednesday: DS Smith, Moss Bros, MSB Int'l and WH Smith Thursday: Landround and Renishaw | mister md
05/10/2006 13:17 | I got my first lot at 18p when these crashed. It was under the mid-price and I was told this was not a good sign...but went up quite soon afterwards. Last lot at 30p. Not had much luck with 1-2mn mkt cap shares, but if this one can eventally produce results anywhere near the last few years level then the shareprice should recover big-time. Then again, if they need a fundraising then we could be at these low levels for some time yet...Happy to take the risk | mister md
05/10/2006 13:11 | Yes Mister MD I was offered 5000 at 31p. Told them no thanks. This could fly with any serious buyers. I will stay with what I have for the moment and watch for an opportunity. I will still be very happy to see 50p !!!! another 5000 will make little difference. | knitcraft
05/10/2006 13:07 | thats what i had, went to market, best they could offer was 1p above quoted buyprice | mister md
05/10/2006 13:06 | Whenever I bought, could on do so by going to the market. The share price usually ticks up at some point when there's a buy. | xavico
05/10/2006 12:50 | Tried to buy 10000 on line....they wouldn`t trade. Will try broker by phone to see if any better. Also tried for 5000 , still non offered on line. Has anyone else tried ? I use TDW. | knitcraft
05/10/2006 12:45 | small buy at 30p just gone through. | knitcraft
05/10/2006 12:37 | IMHO the two Johns must have known SOMETHING when they bought a few weeks back. I am in these and considering averaging down...there seems little downward risk at these levels with such a low mkt cap. Could very well be used as a shell if things have not improoved. Therefore as stated very little risk. A good punt opportunity IMHO. They move very rapidly on any small trade. | knitcraft
05/10/2006 12:30 | they will also report on 'strategy going forward' - probably the most important bit then | mister md
05/10/2006 11:55 | Thanks Mister MD. I wouldn't expect anything great from the interims as it's only been a short while since all the bad stuff - not enough time to turn the co. around. But if there is good news then the share price should react accordingly. I'm gonna wait to see how the interims turn out before deciding to invest a little more perhaps. | xavico
05/10/2006 11:49 | lets hope they have something positive to report this time. | its the oxman
05/10/2006 11:41 | received a polite email back. interim results will be announced within next 14 days. | mister md |
