Yes, maybe. A bargain at this price, but struggling to get back to real profits.

Up 1p but effectively only a lift in the bid price. Long way to go yet.

Yes, the lack of news and share price drop is not encouraging. Nevertheless, they should have sufficient funds now and so they have time on their side to sort things out!

Well I was expecting something worse ie placing at 15p or lower. Clearly the Directors think it is a good price to get in and they have persuaded some institutions. I dont think this would have been done if it were not a viable co. I reckon there will be a bounce in the share price in the short to medium term. Good news at last.

Ldr are showing as up 0.5 on the toplists. hope this continues. Also hope we get a positive announcement soon so to send the share price rocketing.

Topvest - we'll see. LDR have a whole host of blue chip companies on its books. A measely 1.4m cap with revenue coming in albeit not as quick as may ldr and the banks would like. I think ldr would sell for around 40p per share giving a market value at 2m. Of course it may not happen like that but i'd be sirprised if it didnt.

"The Board of the Company has noted today's dramatic share price rise."

Have they also noted the significantly more dramatic share price fall since 2005 ?!

I still dont see why the need for an announcement. What is the connection between financing talks and the sharp upward share price movement. I still think something is going on behind the scenes eg a power struggle - so that the rns was done to put off a possible take-over. Anyway, having thought more about the financing it may simply mean that credit will be extended to allow LDR to seek more rapid growth. The jigsaw has set to be completed.

I'm watching Landround. This was a good company 2/3 years ago, but they have really messed things up. Might buy some if the prospects improve. Share price still looks like it's going down at the moment though! Can't help thinking that they just need to focus on cutting costs and repairing the damage before this can resume its growth ambitions, but it looks reasonably fairly balanced as to whether it can do this without further funds. Any fundraising would be very bad news, given the share price performance of late.

I think most of the trades are buys. Will monitor how the share price is performing - will go in for more if right signals ie share price movement upward.
