Guys,

The AFX statement is just wrong and sloppy work. The shares purchased were 'of 5p' (i.e. nominal value, see the RNS) NOT 'for 5p'. If AFX are going to re-publish the RNS announcement without adding any further insight or comment - then they should at least get it correct.

Regards, Maddox

The statement is misleading - I would have had plenty at 5p. Shame they werent being offered at that price. Still watching with ever keener interest. Can see this going back up to 30p fairly quickly but need stronger signals before I will go in.

It seems this one is not going to bounce back quickly. Will continue to monitor but not hopeful

Watching and waiting. Need a few more signals before venturing into this share price This one is definitely on my watch list as if the co turns itself around which it could do fairly rapidly then share price will move quickly. A forward push on the share price will give me more confidence in this one.

Directors (new directrors) buying under the bid isn't a bullish signal either...hardly a 'risk' for them so can't be viewed as confidence in company.Plus the amounts are derisery.New paper on the way possibly?..likely.
There is confidence from the management that H2 is going to be better but what does that mean?Does it mean just smaller losses or an actual profit? Will they make a profit after interest payments which will be substantial? To many ???'s.
Made £42k on these a while back so can afford to 'punt' but do I want to give my profits back? I never had faith in the outgoing management after his interview on ADVFN but now that he's gone there may be hope...but the new management team is largely untried in this situation....so still not sure. Not sure enough to buy.

Think I prefer to hold my position rather than shares in these for the moment but watching with interest.

Being able to buy under the mid-price isn't usually a bullish signal.

Prefab,
not holding but considering only if there is indication in share price movement of better things to come ie more gains. With the share price being stable at present then not interested.

It would seem AXA have sold off (some of)their holding to others in recent days in light of the news re trading losses. The downturn in the market has also had an impact. Hopefully the management can turn things around. I expect a rebound when the markets pick up. Holding off whilst the markets are falling generally as may be able to pick up a bargain here.

Think this one may be a bounce back in the short term. Will look to invest if there is movement up indicating buying opportunity. As always, DYOR.
