Fris, If you look in the trades mine was the fist one. 2500 bailed at about half seven! Top broker.

I have sold out with a view that the money will recoup my losses faster in other stocks (TEG and VCP) than if I was to wait for a recovery in LDR. A recovery is likely but I think it will be at least 6 months.

Thats my net worths... I mean 'two pence' worth... For what its worth.

LOL DW, you have my betting critique down to a tee, in all the mirth on here this morning, I havent sold a single LDR share, now what do I know about shares? about as much as I do about gambling in general, we have our sense of humour and our health hopefully, all is most certainly not lost.

Give you an example DW of my luck on the nags lately, yesterday had a horse that went over the last hurdle well clear of the rest, it promptly slipped up on the flat!, followed that with bet on Ei Ei which had a crashing fall, and unfortunately was killed, the other day I had a winner only to lose it in the stewards room, my cup runneth over lol..if I fell in a pit of boobs, I would come up sucking my thumb!! your health sir.

Lets see how things go after 10.00 and see how many large sells if any have been delayed, have agreed with all the sentiments expressed so far, and am looking for some silver linning...well all I can find at the moment that is remotely positive is that I wont have to worry about CGT for this year, but the real plus is that the good lady is no longer on speaking terms, now thats a result!! chin up people and hold for a recovery in the fullness of time.

Mitchy, Oversold it may be but the company has failed in it's first duty to shareholders, they gave no warning that this was coming at all and have twice stated in writing that they were confident for the coming year. It is interesting that there have been no big sells, surely the institutions couldn't have been forwarned. For a company that was declared 'Best Communicator' last year, this irony sticks in my throat.

Best the directors get their bloody hands in their pockets, they are singularly to blame for this error. Nobody else.

oversold..... back in @ 223.75...once the market has a chance to go into those figures more closely they will realise its grossly oversold.This is a classic buying opportunity with no risk.

Agree with Rivaldo here, Although my loss was considerably bigger than a 'small' one. Down yesterday 10p with a 10k sale was ugly, the warning signs were there... Its always so easy to explain away any falls in share prices - "Tree shake", "Profit taking", "Shorters" etc...

LDR should be investigated by the FSA over this, we all know that will never happen though.

V frustrating that there was no prior warning of this. Two bits of upside that I can see: revenue is up 25% - although this is pretty meaningless if cost of sales has also risen - and Buy & Fly sales have increased by 57%. Carter's statement indicates that they expect to make up most of the H1 deficit in H2, so optimistically we can expect a year of flat earnings at best. 250p looks a reasonable price then...

So the exceptional item relates to a contact for which the revenue was taken last year but £0.5m of costs have been taken this year. How can they not have issued a profits warning on this? It shows that last years profits were overstated by £0.5m. If the market had known this the market cap would have been very different.

Sold out at a substantial loss.

A sad day no doubt, probably the most disapointing day for years for me, and a large crimp in the funds, if I appear to have a breakfast plate imbedded in my nether regions its because the wife has expressed her thanks for my honesty!!

Rather disappointing results and not a particularly good forward outlook either:
".....results are likely to be below current market expectations for the full year." The dividend has been decreased as well.

I wonder what the market will make of this and how much is already priced in.

The only fly that I can think of in the ointment would be a placement of some sort, but it's not as though they are cash strapped (in fact come to think of it why pay a Divi if they were expecting a placement to raise funds). Could just be a long term punter (from around £1) not wanting to take the risk. As you say Fris out of our hands.

thats not a very good price to get for a 10k sell is it? too late to worry about things now davw, its in the lap of yee ole gods now, I hope the sellers were wrong to bail out just before the interims, missed out on the divi also.
