My dad has done it - going on 25th June. He has taken the cruise in the Med (Thomsons brochure) and paid for my mum to go with him. As a shareholder you do need to hold 500 shares min. and they accept nominee holders as well. You just need to get your broker to fax/email proof that you hold.

Not sure what you mean about getting two free cruises for 500 shares, though (as stated above).

all above info bout me incorrect, just want to know, as has been stated earlier, that u can buy 500 shares and get together enough points to get a free cruise (one time only) for missus. just wanted to know if anyone has ACTUALLY dfone it.

Martin, speak to the company first because you're already a share holder I believe. The size of your holding doesn't matter it's one cruise only, of course you could buy some for your missus as well. I'd find out what the position is first with regards to using multiple free entitlements before you do it. You may find that you have to be accompanied by a paying traveller (although I've seen nothing that says that categorically).

I have enough points for a cruise and easily enough shares for the entitlement a number of times over. I would be interested to know their stance.

martinfrench, forgot to mention you need to register you are a shareholder and then you get the 200 points credited to you, they will email an account number to you to open up the buy n fly site.

You can get a free cruise from redeeming the points on the buy n fly website, go to LDR website and click on Buy n fly and see what you can get for the points.

i have just received barclays free shareholder perks document and there is no mention of a free cruise from landround, but rest of stuff posted on this board is upheld.

Thanks for posting that information rivaldo, have just acquired a Mastercard from Mogan&Stanley and look forward to accumulating the extra buy n fly points.
Just a reminder that share holders in LDR that hold a minimum of 500 shares qualify for 200 free points for buy n fly account.

Just goes to show the undevaluations that are about.

I think a lot of it is down to the sell in May and go away brigade, determined to sit it out till late Aug. But just think what a rush there will be for these stocks then, or if the S&P/Dow hit new highs.

ome screaming value around - lots will get righted when they publish results too imo - like LDR big time perhaps.

It all adds to the bottom line Dave, LDR has a lot of industry clients, the list on the LDR site is not exhaustive to say the least. Let them buy TAT, it will line our pockets with dubloons eventually.

The latest RNS illustrates why Debenhams want to dump nectar, it's only a matter of time before they score a couple more big UK names.

Could well be right Prefab, I certainly hope so. I have a mate that works for Londis (Yes, them) and he says the retailers are being offered B+F points as an incentive to buy more tat... Is this common knowledge? Its not exactly ground breaking either way...

Dave, I expected this to be thrown in with the results because it was held back so long. Looks to me like they have just clinched something else to be thrown in, in it's place. No reason to release this news with the extra cost involved when they could have just held it back 4 days.

To be fair prefab, I dont think todays announcement came as a suprise to anyone, least of all the market makers.

Does look very undervalued still though. If interims are as good as we all hope I do honestly see 420p+

Ta Heidi and CR, maybe the iii scheme will be announced with the results?

I'll sleep easily before these results come out on the 10th - must be up to scratch or better as the Notice of Results was fine, and plenty of bullishness to be expected about the outlook given the recent deals.
