One las thing: the RSI is kind of "HIGH" at 48. Which is not a good indicator for a rise.
10 is as it will be oversold... My target is now 57p.

Debts are good as these can offset taxes. All majors have huge debts, also manageable...
Regarding directors: well they'll have a very longterm view. Not one/two years...but 5/10.

The Saudi contract, when signed, will ad few pence onto the share price.
This should trigger a breakout.
I do hope so, for you guys.
I do too like LAM.

On charts they have been for the past 5 years. But I agree no guarantees.

With no debt contracts confirmed and more contracts to follow with cash in th bank and oil recovering plus the directors bought at premium to current share price i would rather have a position here then some other debt ridden companies.

Jan 2014 120p to 180p June 2014
January 2015 100p to 160p June 2015
January 2016 60p to 110p June 2016
January 2017 80p to 120p June 2017
January 2018 60p to 110p June 2018
January 2019 60p to ??p June 2019

More or less goes up 50% between January to June.

Just going by on chat movements last few yrs. Mid January to March it.climbs 60p to 90p then takes a breather and then marches forward again to June.

Mention that the projects have probably been sold at very competitive margins.

It is, if you are 100% confident that the particular share is going to bounce back and not collapse altogether.

I admire anyone who has the confidence to do that,as you seem to have.

However,having been burnt a few times,myself,I do tend to exercise considerable caution in this present market.

On a positive note,my Rio Tinto shares have finally headed up as have my Petrofac shares.

Roll on Monday so we can see how Lamprell does.

I think when doom and gloom has kicked in for few weeks and oil Rockies are depressed that's exactly the time to pick up companies like LAM....

No debt
Fully funded
Directors bought premium to current sp
100s of millions of pounds of contracts
More contracts to follow

Spacedust: Doom and Gloom.

The oil price was still dropping steadily until a few days ago which will have lead people to assume,myself included, that it could continue to drop down for a while so this was rather demoralising.

Some of us have all our money tied up in shares, leaving us with nothing to trade with and nothing to do until the oil price and/or share recovers, and a big paper loss or possibly a big real loss.

Now several of us are starting to see light at the end of the tunnel,an end to the waiting so now the doom and gloom,thoughts of jumping out windows,etc, are forgotten for the present.

Wait till next week when everyone is back from the Christmas and New Year holidays.

The oil price is back up to 57.46 at the moment so if it continues back up to $60 and more,I believe that this share will come up nicely.

Yes,Spacedust, you have always been very positive about this share going up in January but I believe that it is going up for a very good reason.

I believe that Lamprell is going up because of the belated reaction by people returning from the Christmas and New Year's break and reading their RNS,s etc.

It will be interesting how this moves tomorrow.
