25/1/2018 18:39 | Srp, i would expect it could be a couple of years before things start to turnaround assuming they can win some profitable new contracts. I don't hold here. | coxsmn
25/1/2018 09:43 | BB They have the cash and plenty of it, and a 30% plus shareholder. KM Yes a bid at 100p would please all involved I would have thought, dyor. | srpactive
25/1/2018 09:28 | blackbear, some insider shorts closing before the hedge funds move in. Manufactured loss for a cheap bid?. | kmann
25/1/2018 09:13 | Amazed it's holding up here. | blackbear
25/1/2018 08:06 | QS A sale to a very large company that can price jobs should be the target for all involved, asap, dyor as you state. | srpactive
25/1/2018 07:30 | Is all about the future, oil price backs more work in this area, however it is also ALL about the management and if city want current lot out, then chairman needs to grow a pair and work out whether he has the right team, if not look for outside help or bidders to realise value...IMO! and DYOR! | qs99
25/1/2018 07:29 | If this goes to the mid 50s I may be tempted. There is a double whammy of a very poor outlook and an $80M loss on a single contract. How is it possible to lose $80M on a single contract? They say the loss may be even more than that. Then they are sinking funds into the mid-eastern project. I'm not expecting to see this company post a profit for several years. | brwo349
24/1/2018 23:37 | Value in the 50's despite this company being a complete and utter shambles. | eastbourne1982
24/1/2018 22:46 | Should see some action both ways tomorrow can't wait. | blackbear
24/1/2018 22:37 | what a disaster, this is 2009 all over. not been in this for years, down at cash level, but net cah another 60% lower. | kmann
24/1/2018 22:00 | Love this share traded it many time from arou d 65p to 90p making 40% each time. Time to do it again..... | spacedust
24/1/2018 21:42 | "Seems you went to a "trading" course after your -100% on AMI. :(" Nope never lost 100% on AMI, I did trade it though. I've never met you or conversed with you before, so you do seem to be stalking me. Strange really. And given that you've only just recently registered, it appears as though you have issues, so I shall put you on ignore and you can talk to yourself. Cheerio! | bulltradept
24/1/2018 21:28 | Yes agree it is a trading stock now, not sure about your target though, we shall see, dyor. | srpactive
24/1/2018 21:09 | Can see 45p here tomorrow, ill be trading it at some point. | blackbear
24/1/2018 20:39 | good job they have cash here but, they have certainly been careless here. CEO needs a good kicking. If I was Steve Lamp tell, I'd want new CEO and others. | adon
24/1/2018 20:28 | Although disappointing, I think they represent good value at 71.9p with a market cap of £246m. In today's disappointing RNS, they say they'll still have $255m / c.£180m in cash after the impairment from the E Anglian disaster - so the banking waiver should be a formality. Also, we already knew about most of this news. Forecasts for 2018 were already for a loss of a consensus of >£26m, so even taking that into account, we should still have NTAV of £284m - most of which is net cash. So the current valuation is pricing in quite a lot worse - particularly when you think the historic P/E for two years ago is now 4! What's more, as the Lamprells (Steve Lamprell) own a third, you're aligning your interests with the owners. Are they in real control though? One would certainly hope so. No wonder it bounced in the auction at the close. I just wish I'd been quicker off the mark - but will be watching what happens tomorrow keenly (currently no position). It does make you wonder if the whole thing is a ruse to take it private on the cheap. | value hound
24/1/2018 20:14 | It does make me wonder why they have continually underperformed, even when they could have paid a dividend they chose not too, now another disaster on a wind turbine project, it does make me wonder if this is being intentionally staged, dyor. Just take it private or return the cash to shareholders. | srpactive
24/1/2018 20:09 | C'mon BT. I do not mind 99.99% of posters, only the utter "bigots & idiots", I hate. You do not fall in that category. | crazy big boy
24/1/2018 20:03 | Mr labrador, are you sure you not a Doberman in disguise of a docile labrador? Woof woof | crazy big boy
24/1/2018 20:01 | LOL. Seems you went to a "trading" course after your -100% on AMI. :( Which company did you use for your course? If I may ask. | crazy big boy
24/1/2018 19:45 | "Looks like that mug Bulltrap got trapped. LOL" I have no position actually and as such have never had the pleasure of speaking with you, but it looks as though you don't like what I say.;-) Looks as though you need to go on a trading course before you enter the adult arena of trading. | bulltradept
24/1/2018 18:13 | Been the story for the last 8 years, failed to deliver time and time again........and poor CEO appointments one after the other...... | hippo
24/1/2018 18:09 | I think this needs taking private by the Lamprell family, enough of all this nonsense time after time. | srpactive |
