03/1/2019 16:38 | 70p tomorrow onto 90p. When this moves it really does move and doesn't take may trsdin days to go up 25 to 40% | spacedust
03/1/2019 16:37 | Thanks Cinque. I just wanted trigger to repeat that. Lol Btw did someone say around a week or 2 ago that in January LAM will go up for no reason | spacedust
03/1/2019 16:29 | Edited to remove less professional content: :-) Houston,we have lift off! It seems that people are returning from their holidays and finally waking up to the two new contract RNS,s. Spacedust: Trigger is saying,he feels that Alamaison is mistaken in thinking that he will achieve his objective of buying Lamprell for 56 pence or so. | cinquepercento
03/1/2019 15:28 | Sorry trigger I didn't quite get what u said. Can you say that again? | spacedust
31/12/2018 12:26 | Tonynorstrom1, Please see my previous post, the guy is a complete cretin and a fantasist to boot. The good news is that if he’s waiting for the price to drop, that almost certainly means it’s going up. | trigger blade
31/12/2018 10:27 | As explained in previous post, it it was taken from a pi on LSE share chat. No agenda here. Just waiting on the side line for some volume/better price. | alamaison5
29/12/2018 09:29 | Alamaison5: The only person i've heard talk about speculated losses "Something to do with Scottish Power" is you. You are talking about the East Anglia Project which I suspect you know. Lamprell has discussed this several times including in their September trading update where they stated that the Project is now complete with "costs inline" with previous guidelines. The fact that it is complete should mean that there should be no nasty surprises. You are either privy to inside information which you should not be discussing or more likely pushing unfounded rumours - time will tell. If you have any concrete information - please share. | tonynorstrom1
28/12/2018 14:17 | Lam is pretty stable at these prices. It was 60p ish when oil was 60$ plus it was 60p ish when oil was 50$ or so. It will go up from January onwards as charts suggest. Btw what happened to all the doom and gloom and end of days scenario that was being touted only 48 hrs ago??? | spacedust
28/12/2018 14:04 | To regular LAM board users, you would do well not to take alamaison seriously, he’s a cretin of the highest order. One thing is for sure, he will ruin this message board, as he does routinely (cf LEK and BIKWIK’s own board, where he drove the poor guy who set the board up away from his own creation). You need to be some special sort of sub species to do that. He’s very thin skinned for a troll, he’ll claim to have filtered you, but he won’t have. | trigger blade
28/12/2018 13:00 | Spacedust:re; some shares going up a lot today, etc: Petrofac, which I am holding a lot of,has surprised me by recovering to 473 today and yet the price of oil is going down still,to 52.63 pence or so. I am not complaining but where is the logic? Oil price down but share price up? Conversely, My Rio Tinto shares are stubbornly refusing to go up despite Gold up to $1280. I still think that Lamprell is a safe bet now and that it will move up after the New Year week is over and done with. | cinquepercento
28/12/2018 12:28 | What if it goes to 57p would you not buy? I'm just constantly adding here as soon as I get funds from elsewhere. I am a buyer now and at 56p I'll buy more as well. I'm not a big invester in terms purchases but i would like to build a decent stake here and hopefully at some point in 2019 I can double my investment within a space of 12months. Having said that if we receive a 500m plus contract from the saudis I'll hold longer. | spacedust
28/12/2018 12:13 | More Cum: Honesty is not you strength I can see that, lol. I am a buyer, soon, but before I do I have some research to do... You seems to be one of these loser on the lose. Blame yourself for it. Not others. I'll buy LAM at 56p for sure, not 60p... | alamaison5
28/12/2018 10:43 | Cinque I don't think it's too much to do with people returning from the festive period because lots of other shares are on huge rises today. Having said that I think from mid January onwards LAM will motor ahead regardless of news or anything. I don't there is any hidden costs. Someone scar3 mongering perhaps..... | spacedust
28/12/2018 10:42 | Alamaison-try and be a bit more direct in your deramping-its tedious to the point of boring. The facts are there in front of you-we all know the risks, POO etc-I bought in here recently at c 61p after the few new contracts and change of tone because I think it may be good value now and the very important SA connection seems to be working. Good luck to you if you get them for 50p but stop the subtle deramps. The wider market and POO will determine this. imo | cumnor
28/12/2018 10:20 | When are the next financials? I am a tiny bit concerned about some comments regarding hidden loses/costs. No one has any idea of what this is about? | alamaison5
28/12/2018 09:24 | All starting to go really well and to plan. They need to execute of course but things are way better today than 1 year ago. Also the CEO's dreams for LAM look closer than ever. On the downside there was indiscriminate and voluminous selling down to 60p. Any overhang could keep a lid on the price - which I feel should be more like 75p+. Let's see. JMHO | plunger2
28/12/2018 08:40 | We need to wait until people are back from the New year as many take off the whole week. A watched pot never boils. :-) | cinquepercento
27/12/2018 17:01 | Finished down on great news. | spacedust
27/12/2018 15:43 | Alamaison, My understanding of the second and latest contract is that the notice of intent to go ahead with the contract,to award the contract has only been released now. The oil price when they made the decision,a few days ago? to give notice of intent to award this second contract, was more or less what it is now and that has not stopped the contract going ahead. So the company awarding this oil rig contract has done so,fully aware of the present oil price and they have obviously taken the long term view that the oil price will recover. | cinquepercento
27/12/2018 14:51 | The 2nd one isn't signed yet so it could be signed when oil prices are 50$ or 80$ but it don't matter when it's signed as price of oil will fluctuate and the contracts will not have a fixed oil price tag | spacedust
27/12/2018 14:31 | Cinqu: It will be fair to say that out of these two contracts, one is non-oil related and the other one isn't signed yet... Also, whenever the latest was discussed, the oil price was at $75 a barrel. | alamaison5
27/12/2018 14:00 | The way I see it,is that despite oil price continuing to drop,Lamprell already has two meaningful recent contracts in the bag. The companies awarding these contracts have not been put off by the (low and still dropping).... oil price. These two contracts, alone, shou | cinquepercento
27/12/2018 13:56 | From LSE share chat: -"I guess we play the waiting game, to see if the upper management of LAM has been hiding something with regards to the speculated losses."- Something about Scotish Power? | alamaison5 |
