Bull Can't agree with your sentiment long term. It is true that the oil price is depressed at the moment BUT world demand will always see the price recover. With Jim Moffat and his team already touting for business and attempts being made for a Tier 1 contract I would consider the share price of around 145p both surprising solid AND also a decent buying chance in a market that is truly awful. I think that there are many investors (incl myself) who have a great deal of faith in LAM long term due primarily to the Moffat style of management, It is indeed conforting to see LAM holding up reasonably well when so many "oilers" are being clobbered

Surely this is now over priced given the lowering of the Oil price?

The demand for new rigs and associated Oil related services will tail off if the demand for oil on a global scale weakens?

Its tempting to top up at this price but Id be averaging up which Im not that keen on. Hoping the worst of the current sell off is over, some bargains to be had out there for the long term.

Been a great buy on these pull backs in the past imo.

Very illiquid - and thus volatile imo.

If you look back at the chart, these sort of dips on a stressed mkt have been great buying opportunities imo.

Can rise as fast as it falls with this volatility imo.

All imo/dyor etc.

Bounced yesterday afternoon as you said plunger - I've noticed the firmness in the afternoons too.

Same today I reckon - definitely gets well bought on dips.

I've noticed that.
Also it tends to be stronger as the US wakes up. I like to see that. Not least because John Kennedy's previous outfit (Wellstream) got taken out by GE. I'm not expecting any take out here for quite some time but US interest would always be welcome. :-)

Take a look at the volume - very good today - nice to have rallies on volume, the rally in August was on volume.

In my opinion there are two happenings that will send the share price quickly to £2 - one is the reappearance of the dividend the second is a Tier 1 contract RNS. If the company manage both then we are way above £2 in short time. After a couple of so-so days things are looking much rosier today - but please lets not have the share price dropping near closing time!!!!
