22/7/2014 09:07 | boring boring boring. The silly season in full swing. all may be quiet here for a bit. However Jim could announce a new contract any old day and that could spark a bit of interest. Do you think the Pru has a stack of deck chairs that they like to move around?? | plunger2
21/7/2014 11:36 | I guess that like a lot of observers, I am waiting for the results to see what the forward order book looks like, it has been shrinking for some time so it must show meaningful improvement for the share price to move forward from the current range. | salpara111
17/7/2014 08:55 | True but at least today the signs are a bit more encouraging as we are currently up | todismypal
17/7/2014 08:33 | Yes it is frustrating that 150p has failed to hold - a steady drift ahead of the interims. | skinny
17/7/2014 07:07 | Lamprell (ticker: LAM), a leading provider of diversified engineering and contracting services to the onshore and offshore oil & gas and renewable energy industries, will announce its interim financial results for the period ended 30 June 2014 on Thursday 28 August 2014. | skinny
16/7/2014 15:57 | Or the buyer of the 2.8m placing wants more at that price again so they manipulate it lower. | srpactive
16/7/2014 13:49 | It's only 3 weeks since 2.8m shares were placed at 146p. If that price fails to hold I suspect we may have a sizeable seller. Hope not. JMHO | plunger2
16/7/2014 12:38 | Disappointing that this is happening all over again. Buyers (rightly imo) waiting for some sort of low entry point. Given the trading update and the positive broker views we could have expected 160s with no bother. But if somebodies want to sell it looks like they'll have to take a lower share price The silly season in full swing. JMHO | plunger2
15/7/2014 14:48 | BOREDOM is the enemy. I certainly think that this should be in the 160s but the news has dried up for a bit. Those wishing to accumulate will hope that longer term holders (in the money) will get bored while they'll be happy to be patient. I keep reminding myself that it's the silly season and volume/interest is absent. Perhaps bored LAM holders would do well to remind themselves of KENZ; if this team get it really right in next 18 mts we could yet be a target - who knows? DYOR | plunger2

11/7/2014 09:20 | Just a young man getting frustrated | tom111
11/7/2014 09:18 | well done for keeping alive tod! I have a lot of confidence in the board - they underpromise and overdeliver and as a result there is a disconnect between the share price and what I believe is the true value of the business, but all we need is patience. | mad foetus
11/7/2014 08:05 | Good for you. I wish you well and hope that you your recuperation is aided by the sort of company news that we're all waiting for. | aimingupward2
09/7/2014 09:23 | Agreed. There is no direction in the market generally at the moment. It is just drifting. LAM will just have to drift with the market unless there is anything newsworthy coming through. | scobak
09/7/2014 08:38 | Yes - a mere 13k shares. With some internal re-arranging within sectors of Pru group. I presume all went through the market and was priced. Whether this had any affect on the market price is moot in my view. Like Tod I think the 160s would be a better reflection of where LAM should be - but there's a heap of cr*p in the LSE at the moment and dodging the dung is about as much as can be hoped for.
