My last blog is only 12 hours old and already got two “thumbs down” that tells me that the rampers don’t like it and my thoughts could be correct.

They will be down in Crete looking for the new thing following the earthquake-rinse and repeat.Big on selling the dream on catastrophic events, rubbish at commercialising the new thing

Good news on cancer detection and also positive broker update of current value in excess of 50p. Hopefully news flow in coming months pushes us higher.

We are very excited to present, for the first time, a new concept for a low-dose Molecular Breast Imaging (MBI) gamma camera. The idea of the new disruptive design has been developed in collaboration with a world-renowned image reconstruction group from University College London led by Prof. Brian Hutton. This novel MBI technology is particularly effective for detecting breast cancer in women with dense breast tissue, where MBI has been shown to have high sensitivity and specificity. As a result, the cancer detection rate is significantly improved when used in the clinical practice alongside mammography and MRI. Our innovation is addressing the two main shortcomings of current MBI technology – higher effective patient dose and much longer screening time. The goal of our technology roadmap is to reduce the effective patient dose to the mammography level and to shorten the measurement time considerably.

This new technology is revealing the full potential of CZT detectors. Our development is based on Kromek’s 3D position sensitive CZT detectors, and we are confident this will unveil the new capabilities and advantages of CZT cameras not only in breast imaging but in other applications in gamma ray medical imaging.

Current progress will be reported in three talks during the IEEE NSS MIC Virtual Event:

RTSD oral talk by Dr. Alexander Cherlin (Kromek) on 20 October – (#1055) “A new concept for a low-dose stationary tomographic Molecular Breast Imaging camera using 3D position sensitive CZT detectors”
MIC oral talk by Prof. Brian Hutton (UCL) on 22 October – (#1078) “Design of an ultra-low-dose, stationary, tomographic Molecular Breast Imaging system”
MIC mini-oral talk by Dr. Kjell Erlandsson (UCL) on 20 October – (#1021) “Challenges in optimization of a stationary tomographic Molecular Breast Imaging system

Again. A bit of ‘old news’ that’s been discussed on here or the lse board gets a bit of media attention and share price reacts with a ridiculous 7.88% increase.

How long before the same happens with the biological pathogen detectors? The story will get regurgitated, people will react with “what seriously, a device that could prevent the next pandemic spreading through air travel? And it can do a load of other things like identify unknown pathogens/future pandemics in society... and protect against biological attacks? The U.S government has been funding this company and they’ve completed the second round of funding? Plus it’s a company with various other leading products in hospital scanners, radiation and security detection thrown in for free? The whole lot is valued at a fraction of just the rival hospital scanner business that just sold last month?” Then there will hopefully be the boom we’ve all been waiting for

Regarding my earlier post of “magazine snippets” and “YouTube blah, blah” That’s a great find, AQC. It really is about time that this has been quoted by multimedia and news providers now let’s hope this encourages investors and gets that share price north bound.

Dec 1999, FTSE 100 was 6724. Now it's 7052.

That's a whopping 4.87% interest over 21/22 years.

Agree, UK stock market has to be massively undervalued.

Like a lot of quality UK companies, it's chronically undervalued. This will change, may take time but as as investors, worldwide seek greater value, the UK is one of the few markets left with massive headroom for growth.

I’m holding on till I have the result to the reason I invested.

They’re not out of the time guidance they’ve given - despite the CEO insisting things will happen sooner - only to disappoint.

Patience, patience, patience. They’ve already obtained orders for 80% of this financial year’s forecasts. Imagine what the commercialisation of the biological pathogen detectors would do to those forecasts and the share price. If they sold 500 globally that would double the annual turnover... big potential on offer here.

Kromek in today's Sunday Times.

I must admit to have sold some earlier in the week to top-up my holdings in speculative N4p & Star which especially the former looked too tempting, below 8p(seemed I was lucky with the timing re Friday's positive news- sorry for o/ t)
The delays on updates are so so frustrating, as we've all mentioned before.
Any news of substance and I'll be adding.

Soz,Aqc. But your posts are simply hopeful gestures. Just like most rampers on here now your clinging on to hopeful expectations. I am clinging on to be honest. I truly hope w have a rise soon, at least to breakeven. Let’s hope so.

When and if positive news comes in regard to the pathogen detectors, expect Simon Thompson to immediately write an update in the IC. This is almost guaranteed to happen as Kromek is one of his favourites and on his ‘strong buy’ list. So whatever share price gain you see at the time of the results - this will be amplified pretty quickly by Simon Thompson.

I share the frustration. The ceo keeps hinting a big unveiling is about to happen which really irritates most here when it fails to materialise. If you ignore him and just read the annual report in the RNS above you’ll probably be less frustrated. It would seem to me that the covid specific pathogen detector will be available for sale in 1-3months. Then the really interesting biological pathogen detector should be available by April as the CFO mentioned. All these share price movements before any release are completely futile up till then. We’ve seen 21-28p on excitement about Kromeks prospects and 11-15p at despair nothing will happen and losses will continue. 15-20p seems a fair price right now until Kromek proves it’s worth with a real scientific breakthrough with the pathogen detectors. Since Kromek has been extremely active in its patents at the moment (see my previous post where Kromek features in 4th place in an Intellectual Property league table for the year. Plus promethiums post on lse today). This activity Kromek has had around patents in the last year should provide some confidence and support to Kromeks claims.
