kmk have some great tech but the orders are usually small. The question I am starting to ask myself is when you factor in overheads are they making this great technology AT A LOSS??

I’ve done enough moaning here now will be my last post. I’ll be back to apologise if we ever do see serious upwards movement in the share price

So Covid will probably morph into something like the common cold in the usual couple of years time frame - an H5N7 flu strain could be a real worry for the future and a vaccine for HIV could be a long way off.

as they cant buy during a closed period, any director buys inadvertently means nothing price sensitive happening for at least 6 weeks.
Otherwise the purchase would be under scrutiny

If it’s the start of a flurry of director buys it could have a positive effect. However I’d be a lot more at ease knowing they’ve invested more significant amounts. £50k buys would make me happier

A token gesture. What exactly are the regulations for insiders such as this director buying shares, when he must surely have access to detailed information on how the detectors progress is going? Better details than the market.

Indeed.

The Sciences and scientists tend to be highly specialised.

Very, very rare that they are inter-disciplinary in my experience.

CZT is one field and one specialisation - which is clearly the core activity and apparent strategy of Kromek.

But a new product based on a fundamentally different branch of science - biotechnology- involving DNA-Sequencing is something completely different from CZT based applications.

I'd personally like to understand better the resources and commitment - financial, technical and human - that the Company has to support a new development based on a biotech product and how many dedicated DNA-Sequencing specialists/ biotechnologists they have to develop and support this new activity.

True, but do you trust the scientists at Kromek?

That’s the issue that I struggle with as an investor. The scientists repeatedly offer class leading products and achievements. While the Board of Directors as Skid35 states consistently over promise and underdeliver.

Good to see those scientists are clearly busy at work as my previous link shows. The reason behind why I did a searching for “Kromek patents” on google and found that article was precisely because I have no confidence in the BoD when I hear the ceo talk of IP they poses in regards to the pathogen detectors.

Skid35s comment “ The share price shows the market still really doesn't trust the BOD”, certainly applies to myself.

Apologies, it was ranked 4th based on a mix of five areas: brand and reputation, patents, critical databases, software and trade secrets. Not exclusively on patents.

Interesting article... apparently Kromek have registered the 4th highest number of patents of any company in the U.K.

Hopefully some of those patents will start generating us some profit. Article was from June 2021, so I’d guess most of the patents will be related to the biological pathogen detector.

It concerns me a lot that the main shareholders in Kromek are Hargreaves landsdown and ajbell etc. All small private unprofessional investors. Large funds have left long ago due to the weak management and failure to deliver. What we’re left with is a very low valuation at Kromek that could potentially outperform if the scientists at Kromek can carry the dead weight of the management. I still feel the underlying business is doing ok - in so much as they don’t need any further fundraising’s. But this biological pathogen detector on the side is all that interests me. Can the Kromek scientists excellence outweigh the poor management? Read skid35s research on lse regarding outrageous payments to the departing cfo amongst others points he rightly identifies as signs of weak and poor management. It’s a very erratic stock, but there’s enough here to keep me holding on for another few months.

I admit regarding my research that I am obviously better at sussing out paid rampers like you. “The ONLY thing you remember me telling you is that I wasn’t very good at research”. You said earlier that you remember me saying your no good at research and I asked you to tell me when I said that but haven’t told me yet. Hmmmm
As much as you may irritate me with your blatant ramps I would never dream of filtering you. This board is for anyone to put their thoughts/views across no matter what they are.
Oh, by the way, that’s a very derogatory remark you made regarding “old women” shame on you.
The technology and potential here is fascinating like you say, but as dense as I am you always seem interested in what I have to say. Hmmmmm
You are just proving to me and all others that you too are extremely disappointed with this stock and not just me.

Hi Boomboy, Sorry I haven't been biting at your inane posts Ive had you on filter with another one of your chums QP as I don't find your comments very useful.
The only thing I can remember you telling us is " you weren't very good at doing research" and you weren't joking.... that's not a very smart investment strategy is it.
If people like myself irritate you by sharing the news they come across a on Kromek and it's targeted markets and the UK tech that's being used for the first time ever here..please filter me.
I kind of thought that was what this board was for..sharing info and debate.

I put you on filter as you seemed to like moaning like an old woman, swearing and calling People names..and still do it seems.

I find the technology and the potential here fascinating and like to find out as much as I can, and will chat with anyone who's interested and civil on here, but someone like yourself who is willfully dense is a complete waste of anyone's effort.

It's clear, in any investment, that some investors have a shorter attention span than others and differing tolerance for share price action.I invested here on strong fundamentals, including what I see as substantial upside in the global defence industry amongst others. Those remain unchanged, I'm content for the share price to drift today, tomorrow, next month, I'm on a longer curve.

Extremely irritated still by the results of the detector which we were promised months ago, but haven’t had in full. We’re fed them in the annual report without knowing who accredited them any or any of the details from the lab. We just get told “it’s as good as a pcr...” don’t need to know any more than that guys, just trust us... thanks for that £13m to commercialise it, but we can’t tell you what any company we’re trialling it with says about it, or how the detectors are performing, or any information about any sales or production. But it’s really good. Honest. No wonder no serious institutions invest in Kromek. Very frustrated seeing the value of my holding go down day after day. That ‘upto’ figure they gave a few days ago reaks of the same nonsense guidance they gave regarding the hospital scanners. No wonder when that phrase ‘upto’ was used this week everybody started selling. Kromek have such little credibility that even if one of their biological detectors work I’m just waiting for the chance to exit. I’m still in profit with my Kromek holding having bought my first batch at 11p and my most recent batch at 17.4p but I just don’t like this nonsense - either tell us everything or nothing about the biological pathogen detectors. This teasing with information constantly has eroded my trust completely.
