(Sedgefield, UK; 29th September 2020) Kromek Group plc (“Kromek” or the “Group”) (AIM: KMK), a worldwide supplier of detection technology focusing on the medical, security screening and nuclear markets, is pleased to announce the launch of the D3 PRD, the new all-in-one, high-accuracy personal radiation detector (“PRD”) for first responders, armed forces, border security and CBRNE experts.

The D3 PRD continuously monitors gamma radiation levels, equipping security forces to protect against the threat of nuclear terrorism and the illicit movement of nuclear materials. Built to meet the requirements of the PRD market, it expands Kromek’s existing range of wearable radiation detectors. The D3 PRD is an all-in-one device, with replaceable batteries and which fits into a conventional use model of PRDs. It measures and notifies users of gamma dose while also storing spectral information that can be downloaded and analysed offline by a trained user if required.

The new product combines a small form factor (pocket-sized) with a detector substantially larger than that of all competitors. It allows users to detect radiation at twice the speed, from twice the distance and with greater sensitivity (detecting material at half the strength) than the current state-of-the-art detectors. The built-in screen notifies users of radiation with a high dose accuracy of ±10% and it has an industry-leading ultra-low false alarm rate that is more than six times better than the ANSI standard determined by the US government.

In addition, Kromek’s CIRIS configuration software allows users to tailor the device settings for specific applications, including adjusting the threshold for alarms. The E-Learning platform allows users to benefit from on-the-go interactive training to ensure all frontline workers can be easily equipped with the device.

one of the MM ,CNKS really needs to shift some large blocks of shares, right down to 11.1 on ask , cant get any closer to bid price as no one else moving , or we will be in backwardation!!

Online limits have reduced significantly over recent days, that is a good sign, this is under the radar but stocks like this can give investors excellent returns.

Anyone buying the last dip to 10p would have had a 100% gain within a month.

2 huge trades reported after the bell - one for 2m @ 10.9 the other for 2.186m @ 10.95

Good to see volume going through as we wait for seller to clear.

If something like sng-01 gets approval for use then maybe the ventilator sales will become redundant

Other avenues still open. I need to look at what else they have. Definitely forgotten with so many companies in the Covid field

Typically, within an hour of the post above, the available quantity increased to 250k again, falling to 100k by the close. Buys and sells pretty evenly matched through the day and the share price firmed slightly to around 10.73-10.91 late afternoon, judging by the trades.

Have been gradually accumulating a position on this drop and am watching available limits closely - waiting for supply to dry up.

There's been some decent buying at this level this last week but it's clear a background seller remains. Since it's now at the March lows again, hopefully this will prove a support area for a recovery.

There were up to 250k shares available to buy recently but this is currently down to 35k and has been dropping throughout today. Spread very tight @ 10.71-10.82.

The sound of silence is disconcerting but easily explained with c-19 reporting changes. There will most likely be another fund raise but not before the share price is spiked again with formal news of successful US dockside trials and installations, new product launches etc.As a trading proposition the chart points the way at how rapidly the share price will move on RNS puff pieces imo dyor ofc.
