Louis Coetzee, CEO of Kibo, said: "We are delighted to have secured this strategically important agreement with Baobab. The TSV Project represents one of Mozambique's key development projects that could contribute significantly to the growth of the country. We are therefore delighted that our Benga project will be supporting this growth by providing 100% of TSV Project's c. 200MW energy requirements, subject to reaching final agreement on an appropriate PPA. This PPA will be one of a number of supply agreements we are targeting for Benga, in line with our commitment to creating reliable, sustainable and affordable electricity in Mozambique and we look forward to providing further updates in due course as these agreements progress. It is envisaged that the c. 200MW requirement of the TSV Project will be developed as part of the existing Benga Power Project, and talks are currently underway with our JV-partners in Benga, to determine whether the latest addition to the Benga portfolio will have any impact on the economic interest of each JV partner, given Kibo's added efforts in increasing the utilisation of Benga.

It’s also psychological- a 0.25p share can’t go down much where as 2.5p share has plenty of scope.

Shares subject to a consolidation almost always tank afterwards (because it indicates a problem with management of the co) See what happened to Kibo after its two previous ones (the first in about March 2013 and the second in Dec 2015) Bad management remains bad management. It can't be painted over.

What could they have spent in on. They took cheap shares and warrants in lieu of salary and have done nothing else since the last placing. If LC was travelling before COVID I have no idea why.

Well, kibo’s mkt cap technically doesn’t change inn a consolidation. So kibo’s stake in Kat covers about half of kibo’s current mkt cap, based on kat’s current value ...

And how much do you think Kibo's share of even £2m would be worth per Kibo share ? - Work it out and you'll pass by on the other side.

Well, it’s an interesting one. Normally, I’d agree that the consolidation is bad, except that, it doesn’t fundamentally change kibo’s valuation, aside from sentimental selling.

And, people are forgetting that it’s 50% katoro stake puts around £2 million as a floor under kibo’s valuation. On the assumption that Kat May well multibag if the blyvoor projects gets kicked off, I’d say any price weakness now would be a goid buying opportunity. It wasn’t that long ago that kibo raised £1,5 mln. How much of that is left? Must be a fair amount?

Yes - You have been warned - SO MANY TIMES !(This is the 2nd distress consolidation in KIbo's history - a record for a listed company I bet. (Correction - its the third one !)
Pilkersa. Thank your stars you didn't buy in when LC decided (some bloke down the pub told him - 'you can make money listing your junk on this 'ere stock exchange malarkey ! And you'll get a gravy train salary to boot !)
You'd have lost 99% and not just 10%
And expanded authorised share capital ? - Dilution, Dilution, Dilution ahoy ! Again you were warned - again and again.
So place your bets for which bit of junk (for which all stars were aligning) will be sold off ? -

pilkersa, I'm about the same as you £2k now worth sub £100.
Todays RNS is typical. Everything so overblown, like they're running Shell.
Whatever they propose I'll vote against out of principle.
