Derampers have been a bit quiet today.

Have their paymasters stopped paying them?

I always look at who is running things when buying stocks and LC is a good man who knows his stuff and the locality/politics.

This was always about being patient and still is.

Steady as she goes...

The derampers have gone very quiet. They are probably in a meeting trying to think of a negative spin on the news.

Jeez.... Never been so obvious... Desperate updates in an effort to boost share price so placing doesn't dilute so much!

Just get the SML and ESIA signed or explain the delay!

May not be a placing. May be a loan with shares as fee.... Same onions....

Great rns
Everything is progressing well and no issues whatsoever

Especially important:
"...several formal expressions of interest were received from internationally recognized infrastructure investors, expressing interest in making equity investments in the MCPP. "

CDC, Norfund and Actis of this world will be very keen to invest, I believe!

In CDC, Norfund's case, they already have the lowest cost electricity generator as one of their companies!

Guitarman you do business in China on this scale? So you deal intimate with China capital control and the restriction on investment oversea? You then know what the implication of Magufuli new order will have on any investment moving ahead from not just China but any significance investor looking to place capital into Tanzania project. You understand implication of Magufuli removing right of international arbitration I hope but if you do not it will soon become clear what this mean to companies in Tanzania. You shall may want to look up NATIONALISATION.Would not want to be in this when the truth finally bubbles out to the surface. Where has all the monies gone?

What a coincidence as I do 'a lot of business in China' too and disagree with your anonymous reference - the Chinese play such a long game (start with decades) & are masters of treading where others are fearful (as you are...)

Part of comment by knowledgeable investor in Acacia on another board

"-----Tanzania will lose in many ways. Not only in claims that will be enforced against their external reserves but also with zilch new foreign investment. I do a lot of business in China and I can confidently say that the Chinese are not going to touch this mess when it comes to actually writing a cheque." I expect Sepco got early wind of 'the mess'
