Yes and as stated if they do it the same time that they make an acquisition it will be justified. This is AIM where it is a constant cycle.

If they find the right investment then that's fine.

So they had operating costs of £225K for six months and now have £145k left. Placing needed soon then I guess or am I missing something?

'twould be nice to know what the 'preferential terms' were for the Bison investment.
An 'exceptional deal' would do wonders for the share price - especially if it could ultimately lead to an RTO by Bison (which was probably the plan). I think they would only get preferential terms if an RTO was on the cards. I don't see why else they would get them.

They are now very close to concluding historic issues, and have reduced costs since December (and probably before).

the decision to consolidate i think was a bad one for pi's, just gives it more room to fall! hopefully get some news on a transaction soon as this is looking pretty miserable in my portfolio :(

A cheap cash-shell at this level. Now at support (= November, pre-consolidation) level.
Took a small (75k) stake. Showing as a sell.

Should correct back up to 3p minimum.

Judging by the lack of trades today I suspect yesterdays foray will result in a holdings RNS in the next few days.

I doubt that such a mega deal would leave the LDP share price unaffected.
