06/7/2018 09:41 | Q2 & H1 2017 Production Report was 12/July in 2017 so, rough expectation. Half year financials were 22/August in 2017 so again, rough expectation. What'll be more interesting than the production numbers which are guided to be marginally lower, is the volumes shipped. | murraybasin
06/7/2018 08:53 | Q2 Production out next week ? | datahead
05/7/2018 21:18 | Heeehaaaaa; heeeehaaaaaa Nope | donkey40

04/7/2018 21:08 | Let's see if Clever Buys. | murraybasin
04/7/2018 20:16 | Interesting situation at KMR - the major holders are seemingly having to sell down in order to allow others to buy the stock to create a more active market in order to allow the share price to reflect fair value. Little wonder the critics are confused by current goings on. | donkey40
04/7/2018 19:02 | Ah no, stay here. Otherwise there'll just be tumbleweed. | murraybasin
04/7/2018 17:22 | We should take this over to that board | donkey40
04/7/2018 17:21 | Hey cap. Is the OE appointed to oversee the 100MW RFP or appointed in a more general capacity? I thought it was the latter. | donkey40
04/7/2018 13:33 | Hi Donkey, I don’t post there often but I do retain a shareholding and keep an interest as they have a resource which clearly is potentially needed. As you know, the issue is whether an asset rich, cash poor company can establish the link to market without recourse to extra funding / dilution or whether others will pick up the bones and benefit accordingly. I took up the equivalent of my options plus a considerable amount more but did so only in the open market as a) it was cheaper that the OO price and b) allowed me to purchase exactly what I wanted without waiting a couple of weeks to find out. I have to admire the enthusiasm of others as they preferred to pay more in the OO (ticking me off in the process for buying in the open market!). It was similar to KMR’s OO where it was equally beneficial to buy in the market rather than take up rights. The fact the share price fell from the pre-announcement level to below the OO (and not some ratio of the dilution / pre OO share price to OO SP) does not give confidence short term or in the success of the OO but let’s see. There is a link to the gov looking to appoint an Engineer to oversee a new tender process so I have seen enough to increase my holding for the long term. | caposoka
04/7/2018 12:26 | Well I promise to buy a version providing you sign it for me. What I would say is, it is entirely possible and allowable for someone to post on the BB and say negative things. I know coz I do it often on Tlou - my reasoning there however is because certain posters were creating falsehoods about the company’s prospects perhaps even to the point of enticing the more naive punters to invest. Claims about being first in the country to do X Y or Z were, on occasions, factually wrong and more to the point the company knew that yet still posted it anyway. The cheerleaders further promoted these myths. The company claimed they were fully funded for next 18 months, yet since then are now going through a 3rd fund raise. The cheerleaders further emphasised the company spin. The company claimed to firstly be the most advanced CBM player in Bots; then claimed the most advanced CBM company in Southern Africa. Update last week said One of the most advanced CBM companies in Bots. The cheerleaders took this even further to say they initially were 2-3 years ahead; then expanded it to 3-5 years ahead. Guess what - they aren’t. And there is only 3 CBM players currently active in Bots. The cheerleaders talked about Sky is the limit; Big news about to drop; rerate due once the news drops; don’t be left trying to buy after the news; great BODs; great partners; supportive Govt; great relations with Govt; ..... Govt cancelled the tender process and caught both players by surprise - so much for great relations and being supportive. Yet the cheerleaders try to convince the remaining gullible idiots that it’s all part of the plan and that the delay is a good thing coz it means the Govt is really committed to CBM. The irony and contradiction of their argument is totally lost on the - ie it is like talking to a brick wall with them. The best part however is - the current deeply discounted rights issue has pushed the price back to rock bottom levels of a 4-6p price range. This was where it was when they all climbed on board. So they spent 3 years peddling their pooh and have gone nowhere. Live and learn perhaps. Except with these muppets, they simply move to the next one and go again. | donkey40
03/7/2018 20:48 | I've decided to write an autobiography of my investment career. The working title is "Mine Camp". | murraybasin
02/7/2018 17:17 | Skid1 - you are coming across as pretty petty. You are not impressing anyone that really follows this company mon cher. | donkey40
29/6/2018 22:46 | That's great. I hope they all have a wonderful time. | murraybasin
29/6/2018 16:42 | When are the head office holidays? | murraybasin
28/6/2018 16:06 | Yes we should - these people have no conscience. | donkey40
27/6/2018 22:56 | Cart, horse, and so on. Been there, done that. Should we do it again? | murraybasin
27/6/2018 19:06 | I read BF is posting furiously over on LSE about Sheffield Offtake for 150/-. I reckon they needed the Offtake to be bankable thus allowing them to raise the debt in order to deliver the mine. | donkey40
27/6/2018 15:49 | ERAMET have said $1.75 is final. There have been a number of largish purchases made over the last while; I wonder can they do a deal to achieve their 50+ % from among IIs + their own holding. | murraybasin
27/6/2018 15:26 | My impression of the report by TZMI for MDL is not much time spent to produce, contains lot of legacy pricing which to me is redundant, is poorly structured and I found difficult to stay in tune with its flow. Appreciate they don’t really want to show a competitor mine analysis, yet the lack of any mine comparisons was a glaring omission for a balanced report. And anyways, great defence by MDL this far but by means sure they will achieve the higher price they are pushing hard for. | donkey40
27/6/2018 08:46 | Interesting; ERAMET and MDL struggle continues on, while the ex-CEO of ERAMET-MDL love-child TiZir, joins Kenmare's board. ERAMET (ERA) is a EUR 3B company. If they get MDL, they presumably get TiZir. MDL commissioned a TZMI market report in relation to the takeover, which having been paid for, they have published it on their web site. hxxps://www.minerald Interesting reading and a very good primer for new investors in the mineral sands arena. Pointing towards increased demand against a backdrop of reduced supply, changes in market profile (merchant ilmenite/slagging), higher prices and consequently increased focus on M&A. | murraybasin
26/6/2018 09:12 | Doubt it, but we should see something to follow shortly, before the half closes. | murraybasin |
