@pensionplanner - this conflicting information about the licence withdrawal still intrigues me. I did email the Ethiopian MoMP yesterday asking for clarification. I wasn't expecting a reply, nor did I receive one, so I guess we won't know (for now, anyway).

Many Company Directors believe that being part of a Limited Company protects them against being sued personally. Whilst a Limited Company does offer an element of protection, there are no guarantees, and a growing number of directors are being sued personally for actions they carried out on behalf of a company.

Whilst litigation of this sort is rare, it is on the increase. As society becomes more litigious, when legal action against a company fails, in some instances the next course of action may be to sue one of the directors or senior managers of the company personally.

Why would someone take legal action in the first place?

If someone has suffered a financial loss as a result of their dealings with a company, and feels that the company are to blame, they may look to recover their losses by suing the company.

I think it's just best not pointing finger too much really and tbh it is always v easy to be an arm chair CEO. It's not an easy jurisdiction he's working in to be fair but after 10 years non deliverance I guess I have my doubts... Crunch time here now though...

That being said I live in hope that Harry does have some kind of integrity intact and there weren't any previous warnings. My cynicism comes from being too trusting over the years I guess. We learn the hard way. Am generally v cautious to part with my hard earned but I may have grossly misjudged this one. As BB says, we will know soon for better or worse.Sadly it's also why most aim shares for me are trades not investments.

Sorry but I agree fully with Tops here...nothing to lose as continues taking salary like most of them. If he has failed to announce any previous warnings there is precious little they will do. Look how Sefton got away with everything on Icon. If that had been USa regulated he would have most likely been behind bars but FCA do little about aim sadly..
