I think they have a duty to update us on progress however. I'm optimistic but a bit disappointed they haven't respected shareholders with a timely update.

Before you do that and risk losing a good payout, it may be worth emailing Juridica and their investment manager to remind them of the commitment they made to update investors of the wind up position by the end of 2017. [e-mail] (investment manager) and [e-mail]

Sold a small few (50,000) at the close.I expected a positive RNS by now.If I hear nothing I may start selling batches of 100,000 over the week ,as a risk reducing measure.

Anyone for the last few choc-ices,as we say here.I suspect we are on American time,I decided not to cash out but to stay to the bitter end.I hope it turns out like Contentfilm, where years later,having delisted, some Austrian Prince bought out the shareholders at a nice premium. I'm not making that story up,although it has the makings of a Christmas fairytale.

The Board of Directors and the Company's Manager continue to work to monetise all of the Company's remaining investments by 31 December 2017 however, should circumstances require the continuation of investments beyond 2017, the Board will make appropriate arrangements as required. The Board will announce any such arrangements before the end of 2017.

on 19th Dec someone block bought £78,000 of Juridica shares, hopefully they know something :-)

@nigelmoat. I think the market makers know something here. £50k of stock sold recently and the share price didn't fall. Today twice the volume of sales to buys and the share price rises?? Just patience needed on this one I think. Juridica have stated that if they don't wind up by 31st Dec '18, they'll give a market update by 31st Dec. I suspect they won't do the full liquidation, but will announce a dividend perhaps payable in January, with another proposed date for full wind up.

Must be an announcement due imminently regarding at least another BIG dividend given that the intention was for a wind up by 31st Dec 2017. Even if it spills over in part to next year I would think we'll be getting something this side of Christmas?

Do you mean investors will achieve 10p as at 31 Dec'17 when the fund is due to be wound up, or do you mean a 10p dividend on top of the existing 10.5p share price, meaning a total payout of 20.5p for share holders on the register when the decision regarding the wind up value is made (assuming it is wound up by 31st Dec'17?

Given the existing NAV of 17.93, which hasn't been updated for a few weeks now, it would appear there is considerable upside in terms of purchasing something in the region of 18p of value for 10.5p for a holding period of just over a month.

It's like hanging on to a volatile ex, some of us just can't let it go! I've still got shed loads of these ( thankfully have loads of Burford as well) but I've really got my stockbroker to thank,instead of handing me back seedlings of cash from the last 'dividend'(it's really a capital return),he went off and drip bought a ton more,there're now up 34%! He's not so useless after all!
