30/10/2017 19:00 | Share price here has risen by over 30% during October. With only 11 run off outstanding cases some people close to the coal face must have a fair insight as to the likely final payout. Wonder if that's what driving the rise? | nigelmoat
12/10/2017 18:35 | couple nice buys there....... GL all | neilyb675

05/9/2017 11:03 | Why the drop today? Any ideas? | baracuda2
24/8/2017 18:29 | Someone seems to think they will beat nav as paying 17p for 19p does not make sense to me | robizm
23/8/2017 09:22 | 20.5p-8p =12.5p assets with predicted share price of 6.5p (14.5p mid as I write). Approx 3c of cash due in in next period (say 2.5p). So assuming thats the next divi then left with 10p assets at 4p. Given the nature of those assets and the history of these reporting dreadful results or half way decent results at random, current price seems about right. If you think the patents might be the basis of a future unicorn, who knows, it might be worth a punt as limited downside. They will delist I would guess, maybe early 2018 after next divi cos as FF says they will hold assets that may be difficult to dispose of. Prob depends on how nasdaq does as proxy for risk esp in the sector in which most patents are active. I hold quite a few co.s that have delisted and pay out (earlier this year money from one that delisted in 2012) so if you are pateint not a bad way to go. I account for delisted shares at 0p in my portfolio so that I dont get disappointed! I'm not buying more here, but as they are taking a drop today I am keeping an eye out as to when I could leap in. | manfrommoyse
23/8/2017 08:21 | Yesterdays rise is a pleasant surprise. NAV has barely changed, it has only resolved one case in the last 6 months and with 11 cases to resolve, it looks like it will be seeking an extension to the disposal timescale and it has contingencies till 2020. Approval of patent filings is slow. It was in the previous annual report that a payment of circa £10m was due in q3 after tax returns had been completed. I don't see why the actual receipt of that sum and accompanying dividend announcement should warrant a near doubling of the s/p. Perhaps i am missing something? No position held as i exited yesterday. | flyfisher
22/8/2017 18:27 | I tried to tell you ,but my sense of vindication is somewhat tempered by the many thousands of pounds wiped out in my shareholding in Provident Financial today. | djderry
22/8/2017 11:51 | The end is nigh... we won't have to wait much longer for doomsday when its worthless, all income & capital has been distributed and I can write this off as a total capital loss. Its what i call my own SPV ;-) | sogoesit
22/8/2017 09:37 | falia 22 Aug '17 - 09:23: Yes; we can all see that, thank you all the same. | kingharold
22/8/2017 09:27 | seems to me the 10m civers the special div? | billthebank
22/8/2017 09:26 | Too risky for me this morning, so far. But mood may change if nothing else is puntworthy by high noon. Don't like the idea of waiting to ensure being on the register, waiting for litigation outcome, waiting for this, waiting for that. Yesterday was the day - should have gone to Specsavers. | kingharold
22/8/2017 09:25 | Nice - just closed out for another bagger! "It was a very good year" | philjeans
22/8/2017 09:23 | VERY GOOD VOLUME TODAY | falia
22/8/2017 09:16 | marc Anthony - you're living in the past. Look forward to your update giving EVIDENCE OF YOUR PROPHECY. Otherwise - go back to your tomb. | kingharold

22/8/2017 09:04 | how much are the rest worth? Another 10p-20p div? who knows !!! | marc antony
22/8/2017 09:02 | A spike to 25p is coming?????????? | marc antony
22/8/2017 08:56 | You notice how it's risen by just about the divi price... Not coincidence. | babbler
22/8/2017 08:55 | Not really as share price would drop by divi to 8p at the time. Great if you were in before today but not so much otherwise... | babbler |
