Ha - that's brilliant - someone report him please.

He uses the rumour word a lot and doesn't seem to like JSE. Or maybe he doesn't like Nigel dissing HZM. His post on here seems to be retaliation for nige posting over there.

I would ignore Senor - he is a good contrarian indicator. He is over on the HZM forum espousing the virtues of that as an investment - a Co. that has unexpectedly exceeded capex requirements by a country mile and looks set for huge dilution at best. He reckons a funder will just give them money out of the goodness of their heart. Clearly a neutron short of a synapse....

Really? - after an RNS just 3 days ago saying that "the project remains on track for commissioning in the first quarter of 2024 and first gas before mid-2024".

Another shorter trying to talk down the share price

Rumours of major problem with Gas field, keep your eyes open for news, maybe worth setting a stop loss just in case.

i think fardels bear might - don't think he's grasped the concept of how a warrant works

they certainly wouldn't be exercising warrants at this time.

Yes you're correct.

it's not gifted - they still have to cough up 50 p to exercise

Very true.....a gifted 50p if the share price goes to 50p or over. I was just talking about the warrant mechanism.

they have to exercise the warrant - that costs 50 pence

But it makes a big difference to what they make from them in profit terms. If they sell at 50p they have made 50p profit, as long as they've paid nowt in the first place.

Whether or not they paid for them makes no difference to how the warrants are valued.

OTOH, since they didn't pay for the warrants ...

The 50p strike warrants are currently out of the money, which means that they have no intrinsic value until the share price reaches 50 +PPS. However they do have 'time value', which basically means the value attached is that the holder has the option to convert or sell the warrant should the share price exceed the 50p strike at sometime in the future before the warrant expiration date. ie if the share price is 60P then the warrant is intrinsically worth 10p......as long as the warrant has not already expired. The time value is calculated using the Black Scholes formula which also includes a volatility premium. Longer dated out of the money warrants will be more expensive to buy than shorter dated warrants, assuming that they can be traded.
