15/4/2019 14:20 | I think his use of inflection point is that JLP are now in delivery mode across a number of projects which should naturally mean an increase in cash and earnings? Not sure calculus is really needed? | goingforarun
15/4/2019 14:17 | An inflection point is a point on a curve where the curvature changes sign. With a bit of differentiation it can be determined to establish fundamental shifts in data. I guess in Leon’s case the data is ‘cash’ and the signs are it’s gonna be rolling in. Who needs a CFO when Leon can grapple with calculus? | sharenotes

15/4/2019 13:48 | The Rule of 72 is a great mental math shortcut to estimate the effect of any growth rate, from quick financial calculations to population estimates. Here’s the formula: Years to double = 72 / Interest Rate This formula is useful for financial estimates and understanding the nature of compound interest. Examples: At 6% interest, your money takes 72/6 or 12 years to double. To double your money in 10 years, get an interest rate of 72/10 or 7.2%. If your country’s GDP grows at 3% a year, the economy doubles in 72/3 or 24 years. If your growth slips to 2%, it will double in 36 years. If growth increases to 4%, the valuation doubles in 18 years. | plat hunter

15/4/2019 12:40 | They don't need to promise anymore that's the good thing. It's just a case of it translating to the financials now. This is such an easy stock to guess from here, the share price is trading at a support level which is also clearly waiting for the quarterlies to kick on to the next level. The quarterlies don't need to be that inspiring and they probably won't but barring any surprises then they should kick it on to 4.20p | plat hunter
15/4/2019 11:40 | Maybe they’ve learned the lesson of over promise and under deliver? Aside from this the quarterlies should be providing promise! | goingforarun
15/4/2019 09:56 | Going- the 4 months became 8 months. They bought it in March and aim to have production in Q4. I agree, the increase in time is either due to improvements in the design or increased through put compared to the original design. Only time will tell... can't wait 😁 | 1madmarky
15/4/2019 09:16 | I thought, when we had the last joint webcast with Colin and Leon and mention was made of buying the refinery that they also said that it would take 4 months or so to get it up and running? Maybe the difference between the 4 months and 10 is to allow operational tweaking to take place? Might also mean we see some movement ahead of the 10 months? | goingforarun

15/4/2019 08:19 | From LSE Bullster, any thoughts "we are fully funded for the launch and development of our next three projects, two of which are coming on line in the next four months, and the last massive project in Zambia fully funded to come on stream in August of this year" Platcro PGMs would be one project, Kabwe the zambia project, so whats the 3rd project he's saying is fully funded and coming on line in the next 4 months? Platcro Chrome and DCM fine chrome are already up and running, can't really say they're due to come online in the next 4 months. | deme1

15/4/2019 07:48 | . . You have to incinerate sulphur to obtain sulphuric acid. Where does the sulphur come from ? Answer, the sulphides contained in the tailings, which was the source rock that contained the metal elements, mainly self combustible when blasted with oxygen. . . | bullster |
