16/12/2024 09:32 | I seem to remember that Roan really needs a continuous supply otherwise the mechanics are impacted quite adversely. I presume this to mean that Roan will not be able to operate without creating maintenance problems in the future. I thought that the copper budget for FY 25 of 7kt was primarily coming from Roan as its production was stated as 7kt. This infers that some production is coming from Sable but how the upgrade is impacting production is unclear. Yes very misleading on the power supply agreement | timhigginson12
16/12/2024 09:09 | Generation needs to be alongside the plant sb. | pshevlin
16/12/2024 09:07 | Shev, from the announcement power GENERATION is NOT the issue. | sb
16/12/2024 09:01 | Colin is not with the company. | pshevlin
16/12/2024 09:00 | I really meant stock prices for miners in the country Ade but yes, the reliance on water for power is a failing. They need to get as much solar as possible up and running. Same goes for jubilee. They have little choice but to provide most of their own power at some point. | pshevlin
16/12/2024 09:00 | There' never been droughts in Africa before, must be climate change. | sleveen

16/12/2024 08:56 | I think Leon has now lost all credibility. He has mislead shareholders about power security and continuity. Turns out we are as exposed and vunerable as everybody else. Time for a more mature and considered CEO. Not an excitable puppy. Don't really care about the technicalites. We find ourselves in a position we were told couldn't /wouldn't happen. Not good enough. 16/12/2024 08:55 | One more reason why we should be taking our production skills to other jurisdictions asap. | pshevlin
16/12/2024 08:53 | Anyone got a quck calculation as to possible alteration in production levels if Roan continues to be thus affected assuming that Sable, Munkoyo and Prog G remain on track? Whatever it is it can't justify an share price as low as it is now. | pshevlin
16/12/2024 08:52 | shev. most businesses in zam are affected. it's causing great consternation. not much a govt can do about climate change - especially coupled with a severe el nino | adejuk
16/12/2024 08:51 | 3.78-3.79 are all buys from my dummy trades with Barclays. Price should climb if the buying continues. Good luck gone over the 3 million | genises
16/12/2024 08:47 | Where does it say that the private power supply is affected? It doesn't. It says the GRID is unrelaible. | sb
16/12/2024 08:46 | Has anyone else been hit by this or is it only Jubilee that is exposed. | pshevlin
16/12/2024 08:43 | The facts are simple. Not enough rain for power so JLP correctly sourced private. And the RNS from September and NOVEMBER clearly state power supply sorted for all Zambia projects. SB my friend, you are clutching at straws. Anyway, back to bed , meds are kicking in. | frogkid
16/12/2024 08:34 | it's not a transmission problem there is a massive supply shortage and many people are going days without electricity. without substantial rainfall there seems to be no short term solution to the problem | adejuk
16/12/2024 08:32 | SB, where are you getting your view around transmission from? Transmission links generation to consumers. A relatively quick google search seems to reveal only issues with generation and power imports. This is one of the main factors: hxxps://www.zambezir | wet your knot
16/12/2024 08:31 | if.. then you don't really understand the situation. | adejuk
16/12/2024 08:30 | More buys than sells Looks like the weak shareholders have departed. | genises
16/12/2024 08:29 | mms making the most of this as usual. | pshevlin
16/12/2024 08:28 | The only unknown here is how long this goes on for. They talk about possibly not hitting Q2 numbers but not necessarily FY because if this improves soon then I’m sure they will be going all out to drive roan as hard as possible. Also be a good time to up guidance on Chrome | 21ant
16/12/2024 08:24 | If you can keep your head when all around are losing theirs..... | sb
16/12/2024 08:23 | hello sb. i see you have woken up in your usual good spirits right hand not working his morning? | adejuk
16/12/2024 08:22 | I had assumed that the solar installations were close by the plant and had its own transmission and distribution cable/battery network. But relying on the state network shows this is risky. Over reaction on price dip, sure this will come back 10% before the days end | the bull |
