Great day for copper and platinum. Be great if we really started to see a recovery in PGM's as the interest rates drop. What a welcome bonus that would be. Imagine chrome at these levels, increasing copper at $10000 a ton and PGM's increasing. Perfect storm

Goforgold1 you might want to pay a bit more attention to macro with your shorts. Shorting a cheap producer as the commodities it produces are breaking out is silly.

It's a shame we don't know who the fund is and how much they have left and also a pity Leon couldn't find a buyer for the shares, I think they did this once before in the past

RioTinto and Antofagasta up around 5% today. We should be following once this bloody fund gets out of the way.I think a lot of these small sellers tagging on are not really aware of the circumstances in play here.

Why would Leon stress the separateness of the chrome and copper cashflows if either was to be used in the other?
When we sold to previous refinery in order to finance Dilakong it proved to be a very good idea. Now if we raised $100m from the sale of the chrome/pgm business and bought 8 concentrators bringing in $40mp.a. I would think that an excellent deal.

Thanks ChesterGreen,

The Tharisa website is very useful. Around $300 plus is in line with recent comments.

I’ve been only long precious metals for a while. But with the US starting an aggressive cutting cycle, and China stimulating overnight - most commodities will reinflate significantly over the short to medium term. Out of my old shortlist of commodity shares JLP seems to be the stand out for lack of share price reaction to the fundamentals drastically improving. Happy to buy in here - first test 8.35, second test all time highs!

Hi Undertaker

I haven't been able to find a chart either, so I cheat and use the Tharisa website. If on their website you go to investors, there is a 'Weekly Price Information ' section. This has a chart, which I think is of their own creation, that shows 3 chrome prices. I'm not clever enough to know if that's of any help to you, but I hope you do find a chart because I think it will be increasingly relevant to Jubilee shareholders.
Regards, CG

Kenny, I think that in fairness to all we can say that timing has been an issue. Leon has gone off with timed promises that were way off the mark. As you say, a quickly developing company will have timescale adjustments but shouldn't we have been producing much more copper some time ago?
