Certainly need a steady rise. A lot of caution around as if people just can't believe the way the profits will rocket up in a very short time here.

Lots of mentions about today. Roast interview, update on Twitter (x), Sharetalk and Neal posting on Linkedin.
WH Ireland note out but behind paywall. I'm sure lots of people will pick up on this update as the day progresses and we'll see a steady rise over the next few weeks.

I would be quite happy with a 1 for 10 or 20 consolidation at some point. It would certainly improve the visuals and stop the occasional bleating about the number of shares in circulation (which is irrelevent).

If you halve the figures that the roast boys are talking about it will still be a massive cash cow.Leon was saying about updates in next eight weeks, I think I will go for end of Sep on thoseAll good

I concur that the issue of shares for the acquisition at a premium to today's price is good. Still less than recent highs of course! I'm happy with issuing shares for value enhancing reasons. Once upon a time we did it to keep the lights on. Overall I'm comfortable with my investment here.frog

Apols Kenny! Call me a cynic but supposing they went ahead and ordered another ECS from a local supplier, as was intimated, and that they are now testing it prior to delivery to Roan!

By the way Frog …

The electrical control system (ECS), originally delayed, is undergoing testing before final implementation expected during July 2024.

You cannot test it unless it is on site ??

Acquisition of LG material feed being paid for mainly by issue of shares .. some at 7.81p .. smell the coffee boys .. this is a huge vote of confidence by suppliers in JLP and the fact JLP can achieve this by dictating they get paid in shares shows that confidence

Hi Ant, I don't believe AIM rules allow the withholding of information that would materially affect the value of the company or its shares. I don't read the electric gadgy thing as being on site , that is implied but not stated.

Lads … if you are looking daily for news it won’t happen . This is a bit of a slow burner. PRODUCTION is the key to increased share price now coupled with decent financials . Then 🚀

o Project M - which has commenced with the delivery of material to Sable 3 months ahead of schedule targeting to reach 25 000tpm at a grade of 3-4% Cu within Q3 CY2024 with a project life expectancy exceeding 8 years (Acquisition One); and

o Project G - an operating open-pit copper mine targeting to ramp-up to 20 000tpm at a grade of 3-4% Cu Q4 CY2024 with a life expectancy in excess of 8 years (Acquisition Two).

Frog I think that's probably true. Once they knew the part was still not there they needed to wait until it was and also offset the delay with some positive news. That said I do think if they'd have just come out and said the part still wasn't there the share price would have dropped into the 5's so I'm not complaining.

Well, it's there now and going through testing, more feed secured, copper delivery to sable 3 months ahead of planned and will hit the revised guidance for this year.
More shares issued but once this is up and running and throwing off cash I'm sure that will be the last of it.
Decision on capital allocation review and whether to incorporate downstream refining at Roan to be made in October this year.
Plenty more news to come and this should at least put a bottom on the share price with a steady rise over the coming weeks.

Anyone got access to the WH Ireland research note? - interested to hear what they have to say if so

I cannot be bothered to argue with you SB. You might like being treated like a mug, I don't. I don't think we would have heard about Roan still, were it not for the acquisitions.

Frog and ade, despite being "right", the previously revised production target is going to be met, so there was no regulatory reason for a RNS, so other than making you feel better by venting, and maybe giving an opportunity to trade some shares on the negativity, what exactly did all the angst, belly-aching and accusations achieve? Tin hat on .....

I note the word "dividends" in the final section of the news release. Perhaps? Re the electrical component, I'm fairly sure it's on site as they would not want another delay in the post on top of "final testing" which surely must be in situ.

Given that Roan was delayed from previous self imposed target (I refer to it as a deadline), why was this not announced earlier. And the electrical component still does not appear to be definitively on site. Why don't they make a clearer statement on this. Good news on the asset purchase.

I've skimmed through the RNS. Good to finally get some news. Nothing there to ignite the share price really. We need to start producing. Thutse news might help. Should underline the price in the 7s. I'll look to buy back the other half that I sold , probably in the low 7s. There still seems to be some ambiguity on Roan statement unless I'm misreading it.
