I think we're on a sharp reversal trend here. Conversion price of bonds is 87.425p. Very strong finish too.

volume was just under 1.5 m shares on the 25th Jan when large shorts were placed here. Looks like they are closing out to me. Expect a bounce now.

Last RPT well flowed at 1,100+ boed, considering the reserves number is based on 750 boepd I'd call that pretty good.
The key is how long & stable the flow rates are.
RPT hasn't tried fraccing either.

There seems to be a problem in Ukraine with reserve figures e.g.
Cad : 80m boe 2p - not possible to extract so vastly reduced to 3m boe.
Regal : 150m boe 2p - underwhelming (I'm being polite) when they drill.
JKX : Big reduction in Ukraine oil (40%) and gas reserves 2p last year with not much explanation.

I think investors are increasingly sceptical of Ukraine.

do not believe them figures they can easily be manipulated..

if they are short they may use another instrument to be LONG.

bad/incompetent management or being destroyed by the ukraine/russian/city mafia for a cheap takeover...


got a small punt.
looking to buy more but need to do some more research.

In fairness, the production tax hasn't helped. $5.2m in 2010 to $67m in 2011. $24.6m for first half last year. Still the chance of cheaper gas prices hanging over this.

TRANSACTION IN OWN SHARES



Pursuant to Resolution 7, passes at the AGM held on 12 May 2005, JKX Oil & Gas
plc ('JKX' or the 'Company') was authorised to buyback up to 14,257,266 ordinary
shares. The Board of Directors announces that on 15 May 2006 the Company
purchased 305,000 shares at an average price of 364.02p per share.


The purchased shares will all be held as treasury shares. Following the above
purchase, JKX now holds in total 417,771 treasury shares.


The issued share capital of the Company (excluding shares held as treasury
shares) now stands at 152,632,329
