Happy to hear you've been making money playing your way. And yes - I have always said that there are a thousand ways on how to make money (unfortunately, all equally difficult to find). The key to it all is combining extreme flexibility with strong emotional control. Above all - the tape proceeds fundamentals. We're seeing this with JET2 for a long while. The volumes over the last 6 trading days are second best only to the equivalent period around original Pfizer vaccine announcement day. Big money is clearly rotating into airliners. Incidentally, we have already crossed the avg daily volume (as I am writing this) and we are only 1 hour into the cash session! Such elevated volumes are a key reason why I am (after having trailed the stop about 100p above my entry) holding on for a (well, hopefully) bigger gain. If Mr Market feels like it of course. I stated here on the evening of the latest raise release that the downside was very limited. Have to say even I am surprised at how strongly we have come out of the gates storming in a matter of days.

tong..just like a buy back bigger on a pull back..anyway missed it for a while.. I have made a rule that I try to stick to with jet2..buy on down days sell on ups..which is counter intuitive to yours..even though we have a similar feel to where it is heading. its just worked out more like this than buying or selling onto the direction of trade

The most important tip off is relative strength. Airliners are the best stocks on the day in a widely weak overall market. They were at the back of the truck when c19 struck now they're in front that c19's end is in sight. Listen to what the markets is telling you chaps. With all time highs broken - onwards and upwards.

Good result.
Yes I think the market cap is the highest ever.
The business is missing Fowler W but peanuts to what the holiday business can do.
I think anyone must feel pleased today as it opens up July and August.
Countries will want the brits who will be safe.
I think the business should make a small profit now in 2021/22 as the 2 missing months were not the best. The crucial thing is June to get ready and then a big 10 weeks.
Relief for the staff.

CT, I picked up at 12.2 ..not a big position but added to what had previously bought from 13.25 down then 12 and 12.25 after the placement ..so its now just hit its highest market cap i guess ..

It's because vaccine supplies in most European countries are not as freely available as they are in the U.K..We will not be travelling to Spain until at least 75% of Spanish residents are fully vaccinated.

Wilddcw, why is it October? Seems a long way off. They are calling up 50's here next week. Not going to help the tourist industry in Spain let alone the Spanish population.

Just because the UK allows you to go on holiday doesn't mean resorts will automatically welcome foreign tourists. Saying that Spain announced today that their subsidised holidays, for pensioners, will start again in September - with the caveat that they must be vaccinated. One step at a time ... I'm a Spanish resident and expect to be invited for my jab in about October (fit and heathy 50 something who works in the travel industry)

3rd biggest buy volumes since the Pfizer vaccine announcement back on 9 Nov. Very clear correlation between positive news on vaccine front and market action. Discounting 6 months out? No this is more like 18-24 months out. Been so since our ascent from those dreadful 600p levels. Good luck all holders.
