All awaiting the Feb 22nd for the next Boris update on lockdown easing.
Very encouraging news this am that one dose of both the Pfizer and Oxford vaccines appear to cut infections by two thirds. Also infections and deaths are falling significantly / rapidly.
Talks too about vaccination passports with Greece and other countries.
These green shoots imo are very encouraging.
Scientists take a well deserved round of applause.

Bristol going back to July surely means rest to follow Tiger??

TBH not fussed if hols don't happen abroad it's not important when I can't even see my family ECT that's priority for me. most of the winter cases came back in Sept from abroad that's not going to happen again from bojo and co tbis year.

I have a long haul BA crew member here with me (has been for 6 months)

They have been called to Heathrow between 1/11 march.

They were due back 01.03.

Word is that they will not be required until end of May ( they work on a 3 month notice period).
BA are hoping the road map to flying will be clearer by then but September has been mentioned.

Now Boris has it in law that we cannot travel it will only be lifted under certain rules, such as passengers will have vaccine and a yet to be decided policy of being tested.

European travel is not going to happen before Mid Summer at the very earliest

That's my view.

With the new shares I thought the share price would fall today.
Hopefully my PrimaryBid shares hit my account tomorrow - a £1 per share profit will do nicely.

Pretty sure if you read the other thread you will find I share your concern.

Over 4b when you add in the debt which looks toppy to me.
However there are others who feel the opposite.

I guess its your call at the end of the day

Pretty certain nothing will happen in the first quarter .
I think September looks possible .

Those interested in market cap will note that the new shares have been issued today so a jump up to 2.75 b this morning.
Furlough or support needed.

Politics at play here between Scotland and London. Proceed as planned. If families don't get to go away during the summer, it will have a knock on effect personally and economically with repercussions being felt throughout Westminster. We need to get the ecomomy back up and running pretty pronto otherwise the year will be another write off.

Very true Fest - I have to admit I was a bit arrogant (after so many years doing this it v rarely happens but it does here and there!) today hence the slap on the face reminding me who's in charge. I guess I deserved it.

Rapid test will not stop you bringing it back a variant incubation is 2 to 5 days before symptoms.

Vaccine is unproven time wise and only 70 to 80% protection some more some less

Can't see bojo taking on int travel this summer?

Latest tweet from ODX an hour ago - "This April, we'll deliver 2m rapid LFTs a week": Https://twitter.com/OmegaDiagnostic/status/1361662415281278978 "Rapid Lateral Flow Tests could be used by "those parts of the economy we couldn't get open last year" according to the PM. "That, in combination with vaccination, will probably be the route forward" Chart with upwards trend This April, we'll deliver 2m rapid LFTs a week. #ODX"

Absolutely... when we are looking for small margins, we must pay close attention, or set a limit sell, or buy.

Well done a profit is still a profit. I booked a 1pc loss - held out longer than usual. My fault though. One shouldn't be away from one's workstation when trading!
