09/4/2024 12:31 | I’m just having a larf to be honest. The only reason he is successful on those trades is because by luck he is on a winner. Once you get the direction correct it doesn’t really matter what you do you will win. As you will see with the data I will share with you , you can clearly see the change in November which results in the 40 percent (now 50 percent ) gain. The reason why those 3 percent trades are so foolish is it’s like betting huge odds on. I guarantee you he goes a lot more into the red than he takes in a profit. When you see this data it will give you conviction to hold. Also take into consideration that there has been massive price increases and also I have app data. App can not be relied on but is a nice indicator as most people use app for check in but most don’t use it to book. Although app engagement is a nice indicator to use in tandem. Imagine you are on a downtrend and the market doesn’t know yet as data can lag 3 months to results, the hedge funds know and are driving the price down and you are trading for small profits against the trend. I assume he is not using spread bet, like I am for half as the risk can be mitigated. On shares a big profit warning comes or something bad happens. The risk/reward is skewed to downside and he doesn’t post the losers. Disingenuous, to try and add credibility with his “sources” I’ll give you the data in the next hour. I appreciate your data and I appreciate the other informed information on this thread. I then make up my own opinions. CT has been a holder of JET2 since before this thread started. I have found him to be informative. He has long term holdings in JET2, probably has medium term holdings and trades on weakness. CT has been successful on his short term trades in addition to his long term holdings. I have a medium term holding in JET2 and have been mostly unsuccessful in short term trading in JET2. toast, being nice to people costs nothing and will make you a happier investor and person. Jet2 holiday site is flying Jet 2 normal site it really flying All the sites have been flying from November hence the move up. It’s not just here. It’s EasyJet. OTB. Ryanair. I’m not having 1/4m on it without data. Of course the fundamentals are very very strong. Once the data changes I’ll be gone. Could be months, years or next month. You plebs will be left guessing. Data changes. Feeds to revenue and forward bookings then leads to share movement. There is a time lag when all the big boys are loading up or getting rid and you bag holders don’t know what is going on. Hope that helps. If you want me to post actual data that costs 30k min a year to get to verify above let me know. Or you can keep Listening to anecdotal info from the guy trading it for 2/3 percent gains. Because jet 2 are sweating the fleet, and in some cases doing 2 long runs a day ( canaries or Turkey ) it often means driver returning to base at say 3.00 am planes back out from 6 am. However with only 5 crew (pilot and FO) per aircraft this leaves them short. Ryan have an average of 5.6 per aircraft, and do a long flight and then a short one meaning most crew back before 12 midnight. So its all about rest periods and how the scheduling works. Work is on going to either increase ratios or tweak flight times. He is out of Leeds where more complications are the number of night flights JET2 are making with the majority returning after midnight. one idea is to be sending a number of late long runs canaries? leaving at say 8.00pm and returning after the 6.00 am start to get round the early hours arrivals. However this would reduce pilots further as the 2 am to 6.00 am period requires even longer rest periods. Anyway apart from that he tells me they are flying almost full and the 18/19 based at Leeds is tight if they lose one of the older 300`s due to tech issues. All the old 300,s are at Leeds as its easier for maintenance and parts. He remains very bullish and is looking forward to the rapid growth continuing Tiger | ![]() castleford tiger | |

08/4/2024 20:26 | I could talk pilot recruitment until the cows come home (that doesn't mean I'm right or wrong it's all my opinion) but I'm quite confident that Jet2 won't be grounding aircraft on the basis of being short of pilots. I think we are still some way off seeing any airline in the UK do that. Pre covid conditions are being restored and I really don't think it's much beyond that. Liquidity in the market you could call it after a period of stagnation of employment.
