17/2/2024 23:03 | Virtually every small cap fund worth its salt holds this stock....and it is typcially a top 5 holding. I think it is only a matter of time before we see the shares gap up as the growth is confirmed. It is one of those stocks that you just know is going to pop as the fundamentals are so very strong. Jet2 advertising widely. It is the favourite airline of most UK travellers. As we see lower interest rates and inflation then the net discretionary spend number by households will improve and holidays remain a "must have" given British habits plus our weather. | ![]() total return

16/2/2024 12:45 | With interest rates quite high we are earning on the big cash pile. But when interest rates start to fall, then they will need to use the cash either by acquisition or return some to shareholders.Having said that interest rates in my opinion will fall very very slowly | ![]() thebears1
16/2/2024 08:32 | Agree the large cash pile just keeps on growing, in time value will out for shareholders, keep on with under promises & over deliver | ![]() bashor
16/2/2024 08:15 | The above is good but never mentions its huge cash pile. I think £20 for starters will be hit this year. You cannot keep a great company down for ever. Tiger | ![]() castleford tiger
16/2/2024 07:22 | Peel Hunt have a 2200p target and say Buy: "Jet2 flying high in Peel Hunt’s eyes Airline and package holiday group Jet2 (JET2) continues to gain market share and the delivery of new aircraft will allow it to expand further, says Peel Hunt. Analyst Alexander Paterson reiterated his ‘buy’ recommendation and target price of £22 on the Citywire Elite Companies A-rated stock, which added 2.6%, or 35p, to reach £13.61 on Thursday after the group lifted its guidance following resilient winter travel demand. It bumped its full-year profit guidance to between £510m and £525m versus the previous expectation of £480m to £520m as demand in bookings remained strong. ‘Winter 2023/24 bookings have performed well, with sectors booked up 17% and average pricing for both flight-only and package holidays robust,’ said Paterson. ‘The mix of higher-margin package holidays has again increased slightly, to 60% for the inter period due to the resurgence in city breaks.’ Paterson said the company is ‘a well-invested, high-service customer proposition that continues to gain market share’. ‘Five new A321neo aircraft have been delivered on time, with a further six due by the end of full-year 2025, allowing the group to continue expanding in a capacity-constrained market,’ he said." | ![]() rivaldo
15/2/2024 19:27 | Indeed. Cyclicals are generally much better investments when purchased on a high multiple of very depressed earnings (as long as they don’t go bust!) | ![]() hohum1

15/2/2024 12:45 | When you take a step back valuations are absolutely bonkers in the U.K. compared to the US. Current year P/E of 8, market cap more than 50% net cash. Strong growth forecasted. It’s crackers. I get it’s a ‘cyclical̵ | ![]() diviincomesearch
