The discount possibly puts a little pressure on ryanair. They are short of aircraft, jet2 aren't.It's also a discount on the price "you thought" you might have to pay. Just like DFS and others..

The point is still the same regardless.

The increase in discount is 5 percent for April and may. Perhaps that segment needed a push. Business is flying as you will see in a few short weeks. The web data is never wrong :)!

You also get an extra 5% if you use your myJet2 account, hence 20%. I have not seen Jet2 aggressively target the market like this for summer bookings in a few years and Jet2 have always been 20% plus more expensive than Ryanair. My summer flight to Faro was £210 return from LBA, this was £270 last year for the same dates. Ryanair this year was £260, last year £155

Current promotion I see is 15 percent off April and may flights.

This offer means the standard 10 percent discount (fake discount ) doesn’t auto apply. In other words you always get 10 percent off and you can now get another 5 percent off.

It’s all marketing BS for the mugs anyway. 15 percent off what lol. It’s like a DFS sofa sale, nobody ever paid the full price.

20% off April and May flights, that’s aggressive.

So we had huge traffic growth in Jan and feb which is consistent with IAG latest results and the latest update.

The exceptional service seems to be winning the war.

What a business for a 3b market cap. This should be at least 6 with this growth.

Think there is a sign of a consumer recover at least year over year when it comes to holidays.

Here you go. Some proof. Absolutely flying.

Jet2 holiday site is something similar. It has more traffic.

He is only trolling me boys after I mentioned how good a company this was on another board.

I have alternative data sources and whilst I don’t like buying at a recent near high I can tell you that Jan and feb was up 35 percent and 20 percent average over the 2 months on their two websites year over year. I have took over a 500k position in last days.

Considering they have close to 2b of net cash and over 500m of profits this is the steal off a lifetime. I am happy to post the analytic charts later/tomorrow if you don’t believe the web visits. The business is in massive growth (not that it needed it) so I expect a huge rerate over the next months. Airlines are just hated and this is on hated aim but it can’t be ignored forever.

I'd be more worried about the technology going wrong and no one can purchase anything. Anyone sat on an aircraft these days has almost certainly used a bank card at some point to buy the ticket.

Jet2 has begun trialling cash-free sales onboard its flights. Good for the millennials but what about the elderly customers who only deal in cash?
