Seems a lot more people are on my wave length. No drilling till feb earliest. Thats IF they consider drilling in them conditions if not then your looking at spring 2019.

RE: drilling orderToday 11:0 5Really can't see drilling happening in Jan/Feb north sea. Why would they risk drilling in those conditions. It would make much more sense to wait until Spring. If that's the case - and I felt it was ever since the last terrible RNS - I suspect this will have further to fall.

RE: drilling orderMon 21:18All depends. The longer the West Phoenix sits at Guillemot, the later its getting to drill Ragnfild in the Norwegian sea. Even if it sets off right now, it will be well into winter before its done. Bit of a dilemma for Equinor I reckon. Drilling it June/July would have been ideal.

they have missed every target this year, Like i said the rig is well behind here.

Is looking more like Q1/Q2 2019.

But the updated RNS stating drill late Q4 accounts for this no?

RAMP RAMP RAMP

The rig is well behind in timelines hence the fall in share price.

I cannot see any action here till at least jan/feb next year!

Roddyb. Fortunately, JOG have found oil and will be proving up the reserves. A £2 share price equates to the low end and there is likely to be quite a bit more than that in Verbier. They also have spare cash to buy into other investments.
Thankfully, JOG do not have J. Cheatham or Visions to make a mess of it.

Did PANR have a major partner like statoil who invested?

Strange, all these comments sound like those made in respect of PANR about 18 months ago...

It's a bit of a no-brainer at the moment and a fantastic opportunity for adding or buying for the first time. The placing was at £2.00 and the the COO added at 1.89. These are held very tightly and are likely to move very quickly once any demand kicks in as drilling approaches. Yes, I topped up once more as this is almost as good as 'free money' for anyone with the patience to wait a few months.
Of course, like crossing a road, there is always some risk.

£1.50 or lower on the way imo

The prob is "The Ragnfrid North" is not spudded yet, which has scheduled to spud in June (81 days drill prog). Even if they spud now, it will take JOG drill to Q1, 2019.

closed well below £1.80 resistance. next gap on the chart is 80p levels. although i don't expect it to reach that £1.50p looks on with oil well down and no news expected till q4 or more realistically q1 2019

Should be good for a top up soon as there is still a while before drilling.
Huge upside, 3d seismic shows a lot more than Verbier and that's worth almost double this.

The Verbier discovery, in which the Company holds an 18 per cent. interest, is located in Block 20/5b. Initial operator estimates of gross recoverable resources associated with the Verbier discovery are between 25 and 130 million barrels of oil equivalent ("mmboe") with an estimated mean of 69mmboe. The purpose of the planned appraisal well is to determine the potential volume range in the discovery.

Sez it all!

And ssrover goes for COPL. Unbelievable, a Nigerian punt is better?!

West Phoenix still seems to be busy at Guillemot. It is scheduled to go to Ragnfrid Nord, before the 3 well UKCS programme. Can't see the well permit listed on NPD but it looks as if permission was granted back in June.

Dead money in this. nothing happening this year in my opinion. told you guys months ago this was looking suspect!!

I never believed the initial well appraisal as it was issued without an extended flow test or others testing which would confirm the estimates . Also the wording between the rns's from the operator and jog were different . This is looking far more suspect imo

Without news this will continue to drift to at leat £1.50 in my opinion as there so many other plays out there with short term catalysts
