16/11/2018 08:56 | Well spotted mariopeter! Definitely now stated as underway and not anchored anymore. Couldn't find anything about Ragnfrid being finished though. Could it be that they just relocate it a bit during a campaign? Anyone with more knowledge? Its been just under 6 weeks now... | bullson1
16/11/2018 08:16 | some movement in the rig today. Was that a six week drill?: | mariopeter
14/11/2018 20:05 | Yep, Im expecting a cash raise once Verb has been proved up. We will be able to leverage the higher share price with min dilution for producing assets win/win all round | pol123
14/11/2018 07:52 | ...... man overboard. Incoming guy has some useful transferable skills. | xxnjr1

13/11/2018 08:53 | As Malcy stated already 2019 will be a very interesting year for JOG and its investors. If things will go to plan then we get the Verbier results, 3D seismic for the rest of the block/licence and a possible new exploration well (assuming Cortina) all within that year. That that thought make waiting a bit more baerable and certainly very exciting...just keeping fingers crossed! good luck all holders... | bullson1
13/11/2018 07:33 | In the mud laboratory sounds less serious than as part of the drilling unit. Bit of a delay contributing to yesterday's rns. No assistant boats around her so cant have been that bad. | mariopeter
12/11/2018 14:12 | From malcy's blog - hope he doesn't mind! FWIW I'm really glad that a more realistic drilling date is now in the public domain. It always makes me uncomfortable when companies hold back what may be perceived as bad news which will eventually become known. Mind you, I think they missed a trick as they had an opportunity to update us on the fast-track seismic results and the fact (?) they may be useful in the drilling of this well. Equinor as Operator has announced that the Verbier appraisal well will now be drilled in 1Q 2019, the West Phoenix rig is currently drilling the first of a four well programme. Initial estimates of gross recoverable resources at Verbier are between 25-130 MMboe with a mean of 69 MMboe. The confirmation of early next year for this well should have no impact at all on valuation or targets for JOG shareholders, my view remains that with appraisal aiming to determine the potential volume range in the discovery substantial upside is still extremely likely. My confidence is franked by the extensive seismic campaign that may well upgrade the block next year, 2019 may be quite a year for JOG. | hiddendepths
12/11/2018 13:32 | Agreed Pro, but I will still buy on any weakness. | trulyscrumptious
12/11/2018 13:23 | To be fair to JOG , they can only tell us what Equinor have told them. | mesquida
12/11/2018 11:50 | Good man, it won’t do any good? | rayrac
12/11/2018 10:23 | Seems plenty of people tried to buy on the markdown! I didn't get any either! It's been obvious ever since Ragnfrid North didn't spud until 3rd October that the fourth quarter was logistically impossible. I'll stop hassling them about it now! | hiddendepths
12/11/2018 09:40 | Someone made a fortune here today. Could have made 10p shr! | rayrac
12/11/2018 09:16 | More like something to do with the drill at Ragnfrid Nord (The planned longest of the 4 well prog which is 6 weeks in from spud) Well at least the market knew about a potential flick to Q1 2019. Any price under that last fund raise price of £2 is a very good buy imho. | mariopeter
12/11/2018 09:06 | Almost like they were waiting for the oil bounce before announcing this.. | homebrewruss
12/11/2018 08:40 | No TS....tried to buy, cannot buy any decent size auto, all going to negotiate. | pro_s2009

12/11/2018 07:40 | Cheap shares on the way... | trulyscrumptious
12/11/2018 07:39 | Qrt 1. That’s ok. | rayrac
10/11/2018 20:09 | RNS out next week | daler1966
10/11/2018 14:31 | Thanks rimau1. Yes, on reflexion you have a point. The directors are probably waiting for an update from Equinor. Have amended my previous. | xxnjr1
10/11/2018 11:12 | I don’t think the directors are misleading investors on timeframes, they deal with facts, and will issue an update when they have confirmation. They simply don’t know exactly when yet and to come out and say that we don’t have confirmation but we expect a delay but it should spud in Q1 is not that useful. We have all assumed this anyway. Take advantage of the delay and uncertainty by topping up, and top up again when the delay is confirmed, because when verbier spuds this will be back to £2.50 on speculation alone which is a very decent risk free return... | rimau1 |
