With the greatest of respect. simply by looking at the already stated timeline issued by Equinor ASA ( 4-5 months to complete all 4 prospects )that is literally and mathematically impossible.
Not to mention that West Pheonix is now heading to port rather than directly to Ragnfrid North ahead of its already stated 80-90 day drilling, with also a sidetrack prospect to add to that maybe (oct/nov/dec/)???
Then add in another two UK drills Pip/ bigfoot after that (Jan/Feb)_before Verbier in q1 2019!
Whilst I have no reason to disbelieve your 'friends' claim. I am minded to employ common sense logic and reason rather than unsubstantiated BB 'hearsay' when doing simple mathematics on already known information.

RN will be about 80 days.

Then move and 2 Wildcats to drill.......so another 60 days ?

I make that around February for the 3rd well in the UKCS drilling.

A friend of mine has just had an email from the CEO to say:

'Company guidance as outlined in RNS dated 24th July 2018 remains valid. As previously announced the Equinor led campaign will start with a well on the Norwegian Continental Shelf followed by three well on the UKCS. Verbier will be the third well in the sequence of the UK drilling campaign.'

He included a reference to the RNS to emphasise:
The most likely timing of the Verbier appraisal well is now expected to be mid to late
Q4 2018, rather than late Q3 to early Q4 as previously advised. This delay to the drilling of the well is not expected to result in any change in the well budget.

Here we go - didn't take him long. Despite virtually every share he ramps collapsing after he buys, (just like matd) he still seems to have the temerity to tell us mere mortals (who don't know how to copy and paste jog articles onto a thread) share buying advice.
Amazing!!!
If you follow his posts you will get accustomed to his horrendous timing like this ILLEGAL buy advice below.
Someone send him a dictionary so he can look up the word optimum!!

It looks as if the West Phoenix finally completed the job at Guillimot successfully...here is a RNS from Hibiscus Petroleum from today...looks like she is free to go and the Siem Commander has now also arrived on site...
Kuala Lumpur, 3 September 2018 R11; 12.30 p.m.
Hibiscus Petroleum Berhad ;(HIBI:MK) (220;Hibiscus Petroleum”, ;or the “Group”) is pleased to announce
that the GUA‐P2 side‐track (“P2‐ST”) well, located in the Guillemot A field of the Anasuria Cluster in
the United ;Kingdom Central North Sea (“UKCNS”) and targeting untapped volumes of oil in the Forties
reservoir, has been drilled and completed using the West Phoenix semi‐submersible drilling rig. During
the  clean‐up  and  flowback  phase  of  the  P2‐ST  programme,  the  well  achieved  a  stabilised  gross
production flow rate to the Anasuria FPSO of 4,750 barrels of oil per day (2,375 barrels of oil per day,
net to the Group). The flow rate was established during a 20̴8;hour flow period through a 32% choke
and with the application of gas lift at a rate of 1.7 million standard ;cubic feet a day.
The  project  to  re‐enter  the  GUA‐P2  well  and  side‐track  commenced  in  early  June  2018  and  was
executed by the Anasuria Operating Company Limited (“AOC221;), the ;operator of the Anasuria Cluster
of oil and gas fields. AOC is equally owned by Anasuria Hibiscus UK Limited and Ping Petroleum UK

Oil up at 78$ a barrel, on a rise at the moment, should bring a wave of rising prices for most oil stocks.
