15/10/2020 11:27 | Just wonder who's in the market for opps to redevelope oilfields from scratch? Maybe the Norwegian outfit that enjoys setting up new ventures? More a financial outfit than am oilco? | thegreatgeraldo

13/10/2020 17:25 | Not even the part sale of our vast assets next quarter. Peak Oil 2029. Green will be preferred like JOG's. | mariopeter
13/10/2020 16:33 | Rsi I wouldn't say this has turned at all intact the rise is pretty much inline with the market rise nothing specific to jog. It's hardly moving and could very well resume it's down tend which is far stronger than this little uptick . Shares don't fall every day but trends formed over weeks and months . For me this is still heading south towards the 50p level . Covid will be around a long time yet and many businesses and economies will suffer long lasting effects . Oil prices will remain depressed unless world recovery picks up but no sign of that so far Jog isn't in the worst position but certainly not the best either and trying to farm out at this time will prove very difficult imo . Notice on the other thread they are banging on about trades . Shows they are novices as you will never know what's actually going on behind the scenes with the trades . If they don't understand that then they really shouldn't be investing in shares . Look at the chart it tells you more clearly what's going on and looks like sellers are still plentyiful forcing the price lower . Anyone with any skull would have got out at 130p or above the rest are now stuck holding on praying for a recovery or miracle to recoup.loases . MMS know how to play the game better than pi's always have A quick look at the chart showed a similar small spike a few weeks ago followed by a resumption of the downtrend . I see nothing different this time as no news and nothing to halt a slide to the cash held level | bones698
13/10/2020 12:11 | Hmm. And I had the COVID for several weeks back in March. Of course, at that time you only got a test on admission to hospital or if you were a health worker (or politician) so I and many many more like me don't count in official figures. | fardels bear
13/10/2020 11:33 | "Caca" is back to do more "Poo", the problem is "he" has to push very hard to come out without dirtying the pan. What a thing, now the "Pinochio" does not want to be all negative The problem is "Caca" still holding the shares from the Rights Issue at £2 so that was the reason for all the past negative post and want to tell you " do not make the same mistake as me. The other problem is many do NOT know that using 10 to 15% ( Set Stop Losses ) is very useful in any share. Set Stop Losses Having a stop-loss order on shares you own, particularly the more volatile stocks, has been a mainstay of advice on this subject. The stop-loss order prevents emotions from taking over and will limit your losses. Importantly, once the stop loss is in place, do not adjust it as the stock price moves lower. It makes more sense to adjust the stop price when shares are moving higher. | master rsi
13/10/2020 09:43 | Master Bates is back after his summer hols. Cash burn has increased markedly, not only because of Execs huge pay increase but also the growing number of High Tech Human Resources. Everyone needs to look at the changing face of energy supply. Virtually every major is reducing hydro-carbon production and increasing significantly renewables. It is difficult to see what the World and energy supply systems will look like in 4-5 years let alone next year. Those of us invested in Oilers need to be prepared for some huge changes which may mean High cost Fields will be abandoned on viability alone. Many oilers are a Trader's paradise, JOG certainly has been and will probably remain so for a while yet, but LOng term Investors should open their eyes to the tsunami of change being forced on life as we have known it. I have and am in an organised exit from Oilers. | kakapo1
13/10/2020 09:29 | I personally know people in Russia who have already had the vaccine. Clearly that one is very downplayed in the West because of Russiophobia, geopolitics and vested interests. A lot of people will refuse the vaccine when it eventually comes out anyway. | spawny100
13/10/2020 09:25 | By the panicky way HMG is throwing everybody's teddies out the pram, I'd suggest vaccine not imminent or even likely in the short term. | fardels bear
13/10/2020 09:16 | A good size 25K buy got the shares on the move up and the bounce is on | master rsi
