Why is it oversold ? It has 40p in cash and a high cash burn so will need to raise money in the near future will which will likely be at a big discount in these markets . Chart isn't showing any signs of turning so you need to get with it tbh

Good summary kak. Unfortunately the average Joe is unable to read between the lines though and believes everything they get told by the board and in rns's.

Going off the previous argument of value of oil in the ground and equinor selling their stake for 3m says it really isn't worth much at all anyway so answers that question . 100% worth 3.9m at best and since then the world has fallen apart and prices collapsed do worth next to nothing now imo. They walked away before this too which indicates issues with the field and as I keep saying they never properly flow tested the well so the figure is totally irrelevant and made up by looking at a map which provides zero degree of certainty as to what is recoverable.

Some people simply don't want to listen or believe they got there investment wrong and will try to defend that decision even in the face of impending doom . Pretty sad really .

Last time I predicted the crash to 50p all those same rampers disappeared and went silent . Says a lot about them and how easily led they are.

Venom I think you will find my opinion is just that and I have called it right before . I don't view jogs acerages as having any value at present can you prove otherwise given the drop in prices and what equinor sold it for before the drop in oil prices and covid ????

Have had to deal with bad losers plenty over the years but in the end most of those companies have gone to the wall or lost the vast majority of their value and only really exist in name now . Pretty lame that you can't back up your convictions with at least some argument . Are you going to report the institutions for selling too because it doesn't help your investment . As stated grow up. I hope your going to report all the rampers too with their £ 10 a share predictions based on what ?

Interesting and argumentitive posts.

2017 Equinor drill Verbier.....dry hole....SP collapses
Equinor drill side-track....Bingo....discover 25-130mboe...SP surges

2019, April. Equinor drill Appraisal......Duster.....SP dives

2019. July. GBA award...Equinor offered option as Partner....SP climbs

2019. October...Equinor walk and agree sale of 70% holding in Verbier...SP drops

Just a potted history, add to which Schroders cash out at huge loss. L&G almost out the door also having lost big time. The value of Oil in the ground where significant funding has to be applied to extract, is highly debatable. The one uncontroversial asset is Cash at Bank.
I retain a token holding, having reduced significantly after Equinor departed, was concerned when Schroders abandoned ship, but stuck with it because of Equinor's presence. Equinor departed having agreed token terms on Verbier, where they would have pre-eminent knowledge of the subsea structures. Having been totally supportive, publicly in July 2019, they still abandoned the project.
Read between the lines or retain Blind Faith, everyone have choices.

Venemous...... HSF is right you should grow up. These boards enable an exchange of views. Viewing the history, could the BOD be culpable of over playing??

There is a difference between posting speculatively or wildly as you put it and making false statements without the evidence or proof to support them that may be damaging to the company and its shareholders.

Yes this really is a dog. If you're in the money then sell. If you're sitting on a loss sell. Coz this is going to cash. Or lower coz we all know what happens to cash in the oilie hands of folks like JOG...they spend it til there's nowt left. Then they try to raise more. Don't say you weren't warned.

It is with regret that I have to inform you I have sent copies of your recent posts to Andrew Benitz at Jersey oil and gas.
You are stating on a public bulletin board that jogs assets are worthless. You must have certified proof from a qualified technical source to make such claims in public and if you don't your posts may be deemed as libelous to try and damage the company and its shareholders.

What part of this sentence did you not work out from the RNS Mr Saviour:

"Long-term forecast oil prices, however, indicate a relatively moderate level/price, with the January 2025 forward price of Brent Crude currently trading at approximately US$52 per barrel, with many market commentators expecting higher prices"

Hi mariopeter you are correct I am assuming these key issues.
I'm also starting to assume it might be time to take profits and close off these short positions before British Bulls get well and truly shafted with their pants down.

Oil has value when sold, in or out of the ground.

MM's are taking it down slowly. Can see share price getting into the 60's

CW maybe right as cash at bank equates to just about 40p. Investors are constantly reminded oil only has value when extracted.

At least you are honest that you are shorting. Surprised you are able to sell without buyers.I believe in the management and i don't detect financial duress so will ride your shorts. You only make money if others are selling. Some chap from the LSE board went quiet so you have assumed he is selling or has died leaving his shares to hit the market. Perhaps he is not so overt after all. You have also assumed L+G want out completely. Ever heard of FOMO. Will be interesting to see where the next low is because a higher low is very bullish and that could be anytime. Keep plugging away and we can all add if you are successful.

A very simple thing for JOG to do with all its assets per share ($42 per share and excludes prospects) is to sell some perhaps to collaboration partners. You may think if they were achieved free from the OGA they are worth nothing but that is not how it works. JOG would get a % of JOG costs back and a % of Equinor back costs back and more.

Like the new detail on the website. Had not noticed the new presentation showing zero financial duress with only $2.2m G and A spend for the rest of 2020. Then the selling of assets starts:
