05/4/2024 16:53 | Not sure of the benefits UK leaving EU? Fishermen, in theory won, but farmers lost out. Did anybody win? Eire maybe as we have the Ferry to Roscoff, Irish cheeses now become a favourite? I understand the lamb market, was once UK favoured, now Spanish, along with anything fearthered? Have nothing against the change, Spain, good luck. Olives brilliant, fearthed stuff, not sure of dating? | dudishes
05/4/2024 16:30 | Probably no revolution in our lifetime, however at this rate, the pension payments are not even sustainable?Have a good weekend ? | gozzie2
05/4/2024 16:23 | The simple minded Tory prime minister called a referendum ,then didn't like the result ?How simple can you get lol ??? | gozzie2
05/4/2024 16:23 | Can't see revolution happening here. The benefit payments are too high now, I know some that take Holidays to the Caribbean and Bali and say they're better off than working! | isis
05/4/2024 16:19 | And the simple minded voters will take your wealth with revolution ,if you are not careful ?They won't put up with sht forever?? | gozzie2
05/4/2024 16:13 | The biggest problem with our market is not Brexit but the Pension Funds pulling out. this has been happening since the 90's. Remainers will blame anything and everything on Brexit such is their anger and stupidity. | isis
05/4/2024 16:10 | The old arguments about Brexit never die. I see today that the London financial markets have lost the battle for the listing of new companies. We used to dominate before Brexit, the biggexstmarket I the World, a source of wealth. Fear not, in a world where protectionism is rife and we are too small to have influence, after the election we shall crawl backing the EU. Martin's and Johnson's 'sparking opportunities' are now seen to be a lie, aimed at persuading simple minded voters that we were strong enough to go it alone. | careful
05/4/2024 16:02 | Not so good for me, 728 not in my favour, same for WTB. Saving grace, shorts KEFI and OPTI. Eat yer heart out Mr Tom W! SDRY short just an added bonus! | dudishes
05/4/2024 15:54 | The most disgusting aspect of the Brexit vote was Starmer calling for another referendum because the result didn’t suit him. | standish11
05/4/2024 15:23 | How big would the vote to leave have been if the Government had to sent letters to every household to do so like they did to remain? People are only focusing on the free movement not the Politics of the EU which imo is rather autocratic. | isis
05/4/2024 15:21 | I don't think alot of the Remainers would use Spoons anyway - too busy watering their Cauliflowers in their Pied-a-Terre in Tuscany. | isis
05/4/2024 15:17 | There are a lot of comments under that video though ,saying they don't visit wetherspoons because of Martins opinions on brexit ?I'm not sure it was the wisest business decision,to declare your politics? | gozzie2
05/4/2024 15:15 | If the working class had been better treated, they wouldn't have voted brexit on mass ?You reap what you sow ? | gozzie2
05/4/2024 15:13 | The way the Remainers have reacted to the result of a Democratic vote is telling though. I know for a fact that most I have spoken to have financial gain or someother reason to remain, mainly property and their despise against people who didn't vote as they were told is disgusting. | isis
05/4/2024 15:12 | Careful wouldn't mind being a quid behind him lol ? | gozzie2
05/4/2024 15:03 | lol - I think he is down to Earth and enjoys what he does. Everybody was told not to vote Brexit and Cameron resigned. Make of that what you will, I personally didn't vote and am never swayed by anyone. | isis
05/4/2024 14:22 | 'Always a pleasure to hear Tim Martin talk'? That is sarcasm. | careful
05/4/2024 09:11 | New tax year on Monday might buy £20.000 worth | portside1
04/4/2024 22:00 | Oh dear , he’s back . Couldn’t resist it Gozzie gobby shyte 1450 on this . No profit yet for Gozza | seedoftongo
04/4/2024 19:56 | Always a pleasure to hear Tim Martin talk. He's worth £500m and could sail away on a Super Yacht but obviously likes being involved with the Company with no intention of retiring. | isis
04/4/2024 18:12 | LolEh????He obviously doesn't watch Peston or Times Radio ??Hes on more than Holly Willoughby ?hTTps://youtu.be/vM | gozzie2
04/4/2024 18:09 | I don't think there's alot of the snobbery in the London ones. There are some anti Brexit Nutters who won't use them to much expense to themselves but happily use other establishments where the owners views are probably not even publishable without a whim! Spoons here are a mix of everyday folk, tourists, Sloane Rangers, you name it. I also know plenty of people who are anti Brexit that use them. | isis |
