That's good, and a welcome boost for a share price that has been drifting around £2 for the last 18 months. Not sure it is a positive enough statement to change the pattern though.

IC has changed from hold to buy FWIW.
Although vulnerable to a global downturn concludes that it's rivals are also vulnerable.

And not an adjustment in sight. WYSIWYG

The shares apparently were about 1p when the dividends started their 46 year increase- not you get 8 times that in dividends and the price is 200 times higher

No borrowing
Uk manufacturers and major exporters

"Mr Mark Halstead, Chief Executive, commenting on the results, said:
Against a challenging backdrop, I am pleased to announce a very respectable performance across the Group and another record sales performance. Good demand across a number of our key markets has continued to drive the positive top line. Consequently, we are also pleased to report a record level of profit and record EPS, creating even more value for our shareholders."

Surely the easiest way to carbon neutral is to outsource to third world. Cheap energy ( without the Ukraine add on ) no environment agency or living wage

And there’s us stuck on a island on top of coal lithium copper shale gas and sticking the workers in hotels and barges.

Sadly “too busy running the company” is not a good reason to not engage with the modern world . It’s about getting the message across and as my kids tell me carbon free future and gas offset !!

Bit like no car parks in the town Centre so you can get a cheap Uber after a slap up meal at the latest restaurant selling gavi de gavi at £ 80 a bottle whilst paying minimum wage to staff aged 17 and getting prawns flown in from Thailand and some goldfish grown in Vietnam stewed in a random curry .
