31/10/2023 21:53 | IMHO an interim bulletin would be helpful even if to put a stop to the ha'penny a day decline in the share price You may say its not relevant but it always takes a lot longer to go back up than it does to go down. And there are still folk who sell on any news. | ![]() fardels bear
31/10/2023 09:28 | I doubt they will update until the end of PM drilling campaign ~ end Nov.The first well took 4 weeks and was on line ~16th Sept . They should be mid way through the 3rd well by now and probably finish the 4th by end Nov , early Dec.An update then would make sense with another 10% of Akatara complete and perhaps even news of Akatara workover campaign .Guidance could also be narrowed hopefully to the upper end of the range. | ![]() croasdalelfc
30/10/2023 10:42 | First week of November needs some kind of update, hopefully akatara % update, infill update well 2 must have been finished a while now and Montara reassurance. | ![]() 1ajm
30/10/2023 09:36 | Why would anyone sell at 29p for just over 3k shares when 29.21 was offered for 10x that size? Nevertheless, a disappointing share price at ptresent. | ![]() impossible123
28/10/2023 09:18 | Saudi Energy Minister publicly stated this week what many of us have been saying for years - that the International Energy Agency has been dangerously politicised by the climate change and net zero lobby. China/SE Asia and India - Despite now having a collective GDP 1.5 times greater than the US and twice that of the EU, the average consumption per capita of oil in these fast growing emerging economies is still only one twelfth that of the West. 'Saudi Aramco and the Saudi-led OPEC cartel have been warning for years that a disorderly energy transition with low investments in hydrocarbons would worsen energy security as the world still needs growing volumes of oil and gas. OPEC has also criticized the International Energy Agency's (IEA) forecasts of peak oil demand before 2030. The world needs $14 trillion in cumulative investments in the oil sector by 2045 to ensure market stability and avoid energy and economic chaos, OPEC said in its annual World Oil Outlook earlier this month. "Calls to stop investments in new oil projects are misguided and could lead to energy and economic chaos," OPEC Secretary General Haitham Al Ghais wrote in the foreword to the report. Saudi Energy Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman has also recently commented on the IEA forecast of peak oil demand this decade, saying that "They have moved from being a forecaster and assessor of the market to one practicing political advocacy." 27/10/2023 18:25 | Well, I hope he's right cos I'm living on my state pension at the mo due to getting no div and valuations are on the floor so I don't want to cash in any of my shares. Having been self employed 35 years all my capital is on the market and if things don't get better, and that pretty soon there'll be much moaning, wailing and gnashing of teeth.Wife's booked us three weeks in Lanzarote and I'm beginning to feel like bloody Gerald with his gnomes. I suppose I could sell the Maserati. | ![]() fardels bear

27/10/2023 08:58 | normal market size for jadestone is 20k shares - with such low volumes overall, it would seem that there is a willing buyer in the background for size. There is no way that a sell trade of 750k and 500k shares would go though in this thin market, without the price dumping. | ![]() sea7
27/10/2023 08:51 | there was a 750k trade at the bid yesterday, just before the close | ![]() sea7

25/10/2023 08:57 | There's just no interest in anything in the market at the moment - a really dire state of affairs. Even when news lands it seems stocks get a little bump and then back to where they were - never known anything like it in decades of investing. | ![]() nigelpm

24/10/2023 02:06 | Good news, MT. Does the fact that you were performing so well the day before your diagnosis perhaps imply that some part of you was then susceptible to mental withdrawal, as much as physical? Keep up the good work! | ![]() taurusthebear
23/10/2023 21:22 | Many thanks for your support and kind comments - they're much appreciated. While still early days I do feel fortunate to have responded (in terms of rapid visible tumour shrinkage) very strongly to immunotherapy treatment - although it is highly toxic I asked the Consultant for the strongest possible dosage that he thought I could take, in order to give myself the best possible chance of survival. Hoping the early progress continues and enables me to become one of the 65% to still be above ground after 2 years. I have the mutated Melanoma gene - so in the event Immunotherapy fails to work sufficiently well over time, will have the opportunity of a second bite of the cherry, through alternative drugs that specifically target that type of Melanoma, albeit with a slightly lower 2 year survival rate of around 55%. To date, rather bizarrely, after a terrible first 2-3 weeks post commencement of treatment, I've been getting stronger and feeling much better physically with each cycle of treatment, to such an extent I'm already back on my Pro Rower - albeit at a more modest tempo than the 30 minute flat out session at 46 stokes a minute I achieved the day before being diagnosed. I said to the Consultant;"How can I be so 'ill' and yet still achieve that level of performance?". He said "I don't know, it's far from what I would normally expect to see in Stage 4 patients, particularly of your age". He thinks the decades of high intensity training has helped me to develop a very strong constitution for dealing with the toxicity of immunotherapy and its potentially savage side effects - however, while that effort may now be proving useful, I would rather not have had to put it to the test under such circumstances! | ![]() mount teide
