They received cash outside the period in July of $46.1m for a lifting in June which also affects profit.A stand out for me is the PM asset production of 7492boepd in H1 . If that continues in H2 and they execute H6 and skua workovers then end H2 production could easily be 22000 boepd excluding Maari.

Great to see that dividend is going increasing by 10%. I cant find the previous dividend payments. Does anybody know off the top of there head what they were please?

Figures out - reflect what we all know in that the market is good for Jadestone right now. Company clearly going in the right direction. Lots more growth to come.Could have done with a bigger divi though. Headline profit figure dented by mark to market hedging losses and a couple of one-off costs otherwise it would have more than doubled.

I think this changes are good and bad for mature asset buyers like Jse. the bad thing is, that less assets will be sold by majors as they cant get rid off the decomissioning risk on the easy way. on the other hand assets that are offered will be cheaper than before AND the sellers will need to make sure that the buyer is in good financial shape including its business model as they dont want to pay for decomissioning for insolvent buyers. I guess there are not many like Jse in such a good shape... :)

Good thinking batman......was thinking about sending an email to IR.

Even if there is a legal requirement to terminate the deal after say, 3 years.

If that requirement exists, is there anything to stop OMV NZ an JSE closing that deal and opening an other for the same deal/asset buy.

Although.....I guess the clock would start again and we would loose the $50.

check out EME, transformational news is out and the share price has thus far failed to react. There is a Broker's Note from Cenkos giving guidance in the success case.

They have just booked a rig to drill their first offshore well 'Jade' in the South Chins Sea, upside is 395mm bbls of which they will get 49% after CNOOC pay their costs and get 51% .

2 further well Topaz and Pearly, each bigger than the other, potential for 1bln bbls if all 3 succeed. This would take the share price into the £££s from pennies.

The CEO owns 88,888,888 shares so has all his skin in the game.

Very strong board also shareholders.

Also have a working interest in a gas find offshore Indonesia which is going through the GSA and final PoD PiD stages, original plan was to sell once in place but looking likely they will hold on to their 8.5% share until it gets closer to actual production and try and maximise their sale price. Estimates are that it is worth $35mln++ at current gas prices 'in the ground'

If they said June 2022 it would effect the share price now . There might be a legal obligation to fix along stop date - idk

I don't have a feel for how long the stages take.

What is your take on what has happened.
Have TXP looked at the Bill and made a list of the requirements......then went to NZ Gov and said.....we will put in place the arrangements (de-commissioning costs etc) to comply with the Bill.
NZ Gov have told them to F Off.......wait till the Bill passes into law....then we can talk.

My take is.....the transfer will go through....its just going to take time.
What is your feeling....it will happen???

If we're not expecting completion of Maari till sometime 2022, why has the long stop only been extended till end 2021?

I believe that is why they won't put out further long stop updates - it creates a timetable of expectation. That can effect share price . I think it's a wise move

It depends if submissions by industry lead to delay. If the govt railroad it through then Feb March is possible - the second/third reading takes days. It's the select committee submissions that cause delays - also Xmas shut down!

Maari Long Stop date extended to year end.

'Further to the Company's announcement on 31 August 2021, and following discussions with the seller OMV New Zealand Limited ("OMV NZ"), both Jadestone and OMV NZ have agreed to extend the long stop date under the Maari sale and purchase agreement to 31 December 2021.

Both OMV NZ and the Company continue to work to satisfy the remaining outstanding conditions and to complete the transaction. However, and as previously disclosed, there is ongoing uncertainty in the timing of New Zealand Government approval. As a result, further updates on the Maari acquisition will only be made in the event that the transaction completes, or there is a material change in the status of the transaction.'
