ITV is winning.. Alas ITV investor community etc is run by old guffers so share price will take a while before it responds to new reality.

People are now going anti WOKE. They have had a belly full of emails and adverts that include a mixed race couple with a child from the far east!

We want less of it not more.

Its clear (IMHO) that Mrs McWoke has held the business back with her woke strategies. Just look at the programs for morning and lunchtime programs. It's full of LBGT and ethnic minorities oh and a few full on freaks.

And then on comes gormless gobby women at lunchtime. And you wonder why they have problems selling advertising slots !!!

Kelso29: Yes its struggling to stay down....I guess the DIVIDEND is so large and the company have already committed themselves to keeping it and potentially increasing it.. And then probably Spring "give away" election budget and mini-retail recovery... and ITVx figures looking good...
And ITV winning awards for such programs as the Horizon scandal

all of which gives us a perfect storm between bulls and bears...

You know when ITV is at rock bottom when yesterday WPP went down 6.4% but ITV actually went up (with the market).
Less than 2 weeks to go to results day and we are still struggling around 58p. I thought we would be safely in the 60's by now and nearly 70p by results day. The market makers must have their reasons.

a pure guess, but around march - june 2022, later he forgot he had said it, which really confirmed it was just another throw away line when he was under pressure from me regarding another missed deadline - at that time he still had credibility with people willing to give him the benefit of the doubt....as a by the by -the us buyer started out as amazon, now its apple....

Dame McWoke needs to do a bit of positive PR and try to sell the company to investors. She seems more obsessed with filling the ranks with more box tickers.

Up until a few moments ago this was looking like being yet another low volume day and then a 7.88m volume off-book trade goes through at 57p, 0.7p lower than current trading...

If you want to get the 5.5% final dividend and beat the rise up to ex-dividend date
you probably want to start thinking about buying soon

ex-div 11 Apr 2024 but might well rise before then....

Interesting information for anyone trying to work out the chance of a successful takeover based on current statistics:




The big peak on graph was in 2021.
2023 was a new low... So 2024 potentially should be the rebound year... So chances of takeovers actually happening in 2024 is higher (imho) than 2023..

This only works if you like Brucies "Play Your Cards Right" type of statistics...

I've loaded up on the lows. If my analysis is correct we have a third wave coming up imminently. If it's wrong, we correct to 75p-ish.
