Nothing to worry about with ITV specifically. We always knew there would be a 2nd wave and that's what's happening. If you bought already then just keep hold, if not then you have a good opportunity to buy. Simple as that.

Hold,Hold,Hold then boom 😀 I might be dreaming but I’ve added today & I expect itv to turn the corner sooner than later.The markets been having a bashing BT, Banks & ITV but patience is needed, if you can’t handle it sell at a loss but in 3-6 months when itv is pushing £1 you be saying why did I sell.

They have 20% of the shares at their disposal to short ... then rinse and repeat. The RNS tells you nothing. It suits Liberty Global as they have a floor set on their investment with this arrangement and it gives them options should they wish to make a takeover move.

Well I have been stopped out on my spread bet. Should have taken the 30 quid I was up instead of a loss of 70 quid. Still got some in my HL ISA. I guess a lot of people are wanting to find out where the real resistance is at the bottom of the range.

Cautious7, do you actually ever by any shares or do you just come on here to keep repeating the same thing? That you predicted a while ago the shares would have more chance of hitting 50p than 100p! Congratulations, you predicted the direction the share price would go in when it could only have went one of two ways! Have you thought about releasing a book? Lol

I don't hear people that gamble in stocks say that when the share price goes up.

Why not report them to the FCA?

IMO, it will end strong, I hope.

Btw, a few weeks ago when share price was just under 80p I did say much more of chance shares going to 50p than 100p . ATM I see not prospects for itv. If a bid does come along at some stage when we are hopefully over covid, many wont be happy with the 80p

Remember that ITV popped up to 90p after the March crash, without any hint of takeover or even a decent update. Anything positive from next weeks update or anything positive on the virus will push the stock higher. The idea that you'll be able to buy for 70p is for the birds. To takeover cheaply you'd need institutional support, and you're unlikely to get that.

Looks like 54p will be retested before next Thursday's update.Ridiculous but share price can't get a bid at the moment- so to speak
