25/7/2020 18:14 | Have a look at the last post on the LSE website, very interesting !! | ivanborsky
25/7/2020 17:51 | Thanks Gerard, that's what annoys me about these transactions, it is a disposal to whom. Not at all transparent, which is usual. It all looks above board, but it would help if shareholders knew who the buyer was, if indeed it was a sell. Quite a hefty chunk of shares, we should know more. | bobdiamond1
25/7/2020 13:38 | See the recent RNS from 17/07 - holding reduced from 9.99% to 4.91%. However, the 4.91% is not appearing under the 'Major Shareholder' lists (Morning Star, FT and Market Screener) which raises the question - have they completely disposed their entire holding? 25/7/2020 12:57 | A drop in the ocean compared to the overhang caused by the recent Capital Research 200m sell (could even be closer to 400m) Gerardp....I can't any reference to Capital Research or find a sale of 200m shares in ITV anywhere. Can you post this info please. Thanks in advance. | bobdiamond1
25/7/2020 08:38 | Any one told Saudi Arabia ... lolThis would tick all his investment boxes | amaretto1
25/7/2020 08:37 | Look at the valuations of other Content company's ...... ITV is at a absolute crazy valuation. | amaretto1
25/7/2020 08:19 | This may sound meaningless to most but NOT ITV lol, all over the news about coronation street have finished filming with new social distancing rules & big reference to Covid 19. This is fantastic news for ITV as these shows are big players for ITV.Please no laughing I know I had a few beers last night but I’m serious 😃 | stmellons28
25/7/2020 07:56 | They have known this all week .. it's peanuts in the big picture.Valuation of ITV at present is a no brainer ... it's half price on ANY value metric .....Unbelievable really It's getting lined up for a bid ...Never ever been a better time to buy And that's on all metrics as well We will see in next 2 weeks. | amaretto1
24/7/2020 21:34 | Please stop. Please take a reality check.I have a position again but not expecting any serious bid approach for years. Those days are long gone. | boix
24/7/2020 19:27 | A drop in the ocean compared to the overhang caused by the recent Capital Research 200m sell (could even be closer to 400m) I would get excited if 10% of the company was traded in a single day. | gerardp
24/7/2020 17:56 | I just hope that the chart is preparing itself for a W bottom; although I think that 55p is pushing it a bit. | poikka
24/7/2020 16:59 | Looks like there was a trade of 13million shares at 64p after close. | sao1
24/7/2020 16:58 | After hours trade purchase of 13,424 million buy trade @64.4136p. No doubt's who behind this trade. Could this lead to a bid???? Who knows, I'm glad that I'm not out. | nige co
24/7/2020 16:50 | This is cheap on every measure Compared to sector It's half price This is definitely being lined up for a bid ..... odvious. | amaretto1
24/7/2020 16:19 | All in that it's going to drop. Sold first thing today. Hoping for buy in again sub 55. Good luck | wilc42
24/7/2020 15:10 | Hi I said a few weeks ago when share price was 78p I think more of a chance of 50p or lower than 100p. Anyone "topping up" again. Mark appears to have gone awol since buying "50k" share or moneys worth. A "bid" please stop making me ROFLMFAO - but what about those that topped up at 180p+ ??? ATB DYOR C7 | cautious7
23/7/2020 23:34 | The one thing the two companies have go in common is the need to find a suitor. Microfocus more than ITV. | boozey
23/7/2020 23:24 | Indeed, Rupert Murdoch delivered for his shareholders while Stephen Murdoch (Micro Focus - spit) has destroyed shareholder value by personal greed. Anyway, Rupert Murdoch family's fortune is close to $19.8 billion with most of that in cash from the takeover - nice if some of that made it's way over here. | gerardp
23/7/2020 23:23 | ashpaige...been here posting on advfn, since July 2nd 20! And every post, the last 8, have exactly the same comment and each about a different share! Strange. | rayrac
23/7/2020 23:05 | So Gerard I assume you are a greater fan of Rupert and Elisabeth Murdoch than you are of Stephen Murdoch?! :) | boozey
23/7/2020 22:57 | Actually, Elisabeth Murdoch was rumoured to be a surprise contender for the new BBC Director General role. Also, successful in the television studio business with Shine TV and probably more relevant experience than The Dame : Also, from the past 2009 - Elisabeth Murdoch on list for top job at ITV : | gerardp
23/7/2020 21:48 | Cautious. How are you diddling, I see you are still dawdling over buying some ITV. What is it now, two or three years you have been contemplating a purchase. I can't tell you whether they are going cheaper than this 60p mark, if they go below 60p resistance, 50p could be on the way. If they break 72p the next stop is 96p. There's a poster on the other ITV board talking a Rupert Murdoch bid! Keep smiling | stewart19 |
