The other thing about ITV is that it does tend to follow the FTSE100 movement which has been a bit weak this last few days

There is some real Criminal activity taking place in ITV share price by MM. 19% Down for the month and 48% down for the year. Management of ITV is definitely sleeping.

i believe cautious has a point in being patient.this has more chance going down leading to interims.

I just put the steady downward pressure on the price down to a good old-fashioned overhang. Until it is cleared we are going nowhere fast.

Gerard...I have just bought at 59.48p, am I worried about investing in this company, no I am not because it is obvious that there are some big fish cornering the market in ITV.

Can the share price drop further from here, that depends on said players manipulation. I am reckoning on a rise after next week's report.

This is not a buy rec, dyor.

And Cautious7, do you ever buy any shares or are you just a dreamer?

Certainly no sign of any confidence. With Capital seemingly selling another 200 million shares you would expect to see big lumps changing hands but no sign. Just a constant drip lower.

No one really knows where this is all heading - not even the poster on the LSE board who was providing daily commentary claiming shares were being mopped up by a predator. Now looks like that poster has been gobbled by a predator judging by their absence.

Only thing u have done is jump on the band wagon of the share price going down ... ITV at this price is a sitting duck It's half price in sectorContent value is double this market cap ....If they reinstate dividend .. it would double on that alone.Follow me ... I'm never wrong !!! :-)

Hi amar..

I could but it is timining is the key.

I was a bit surprised that the the investors/gamblers her could not see the massive impact of Covid as they should have been aware of China usaully hides bad news and then we had Italy a EU nation.

ITV will contiue hto have her probs re competition but as i said and IMO they are a better bet for a bid, recovery than many of the other top 100 shares . The imapct of this covid is going to be massive even if we see a vaccine by Dec - if there is a major second wave, who knows.

There is always a chance of no vaccine or another virus.

I hope there is a vaccine and no other virus so people can get their treatments and live a normal life. All shares are too risky until this is resolved or properly controlled and that may be some way off

C7 - if Itv went to 50p tomorrow i wtill woul not gamble but at 40p I may do. The share price may go up a bit as usally does and then down and hold around 60p - its anyones guess and any so-called postive stories won't have any meaninful positive impact on the sP but negative new will - DYOR - FYI, I'm just another humble poster, fact!!
