Hi

I said a few weeks ago when share price was 78p I think more of a chance of 50p or lower than 100p.

Anyone "topping up" again.

Mark appears to have gone awol since buying "50k" share or moneys worth.

A "bid" please stop making me ROFLMFAO - but what about those that topped up at 180p+
???

The one thing the two companies have go in common is the need to find a suitor. Microfocus more than ITV.

Indeed, Rupert Murdoch delivered for his shareholders while Stephen Murdoch (Micro Focus - spit) has destroyed shareholder value by personal greed.

Anyway, Rupert Murdoch family's fortune is close to $19.8 billion with most of that in cash from the takeover - nice if some of that made it's way over here.

ashpaige...been here posting on advfn, since July 2nd 20! And every post, the last 8, have exactly the same comment and each about a different share!

Strange.

So Gerard I assume you are a greater fan of Rupert and Elisabeth Murdoch than you are of Stephen Murdoch?! :)

Actually, Elisabeth Murdoch was rumoured to be a surprise contender for the new BBC Director General role. Also, successful in the television studio business with Shine TV and probably more relevant experience than The Dame :

Also, from the past 2009 - Elisabeth Murdoch on list for top job at ITV :

Cautious. How are you diddling, I see you are still dawdling over buying some ITV. What is it now, two or three years you have been contemplating a purchase.

I can't tell you whether they are going cheaper than this 60p mark, if they go below 60p resistance, 50p could be on the way. If they break 72p the next stop is 96p.

There's a poster on the other ITV board talking a Rupert Murdoch bid!

Keep smiling

Sesame Street? US consortium led by Big Bird.

Anyway, Old Murdoch is preoccupied with keeping up with Jerry Hall. I doubt if ITV is on his mind.

Corbs..there has been talk on the street of the Murdoch's wanting to gain revenge for their failed bid of years ago.

Old Rupert is still as sharp as a razor and his daughter Elizabeth is an Anglophile and the story goes that she has put a light under Rupert regarding ITV and a takeover.

Considering these people were stopped from buying it once because they owned BSKYB, that no longer applies. With a bombed out share price and ITV's studios and Britbox, it really looks quite attractive.

That isn't the end of the chatter on the street, another name cropped up in dispatches, none other than a Mr Simon Cowell, it all sounds like drivel until one looks at the bigger picture.

This is not me ramping ITV, I would have a job against Goldman's manipulation. But it is food for thought.

ITV is a sitting target, the Mkt Cap of £2.6 billion is chicken feed. My guess is when will it happen?...I think 2021 is going to be a big M&A year, household names such as ITV, BT, M&S, British Gas(CNA) are all bombed out and exposed.

When that bid arrives ITV at 64p will be a 4 or 5 bagger!!

That's where my money is.

It previously did state that LG shareholding was 9.9%. I know that they loan it out to GS.

Liberty's holding does not appear as their holding is held by Goldman Sachs via a 'collar' loan.

Gerardp, I personally don't see ITV in need of capital. Profits are expected to be down 30% on last year, but still making a profit.

Hi guys, I have bought 27k worth at 65.5p & it’s my first investment in ITV. I do believe the double bottom is around 55p but I personally didn’t think it would go that low ? Time will tell if I made a mistake but I’m hoping for a quick rise to 75p in the coming weeks or maybe months. Good all
