Periodically you can get lucky. it's happened me and it's only luck

You buy a pricing area low on a mad yielder, and for whatever reason, market and momentum keep piling up through the prices. yield does start to drop however but still

Very rare

Normally the mad yields get cut or eliminated before any real rally comes along. So even if a person sees it as being a great company by 2030, still going to get hammered by what comes first

hence the buyback programme. i reckon most of it will be kept in place for post yield slaughter news

i think on a per year basis, always calculated from initial capital and total adjusted where additions or reductions exist, a good ball park number to consider being in profit is above 7-10% any given year, to allow for inflation, opportunity cost etc.

The problem is when price falls from where you start.

next thing, the share price is having to do stupid percentage gains, just to get near that figure. And it increases yearly

Ive seen markets do what some investors thought it would do plus reasoning for move up was same. Problem often being, it occurs 80% lower and the highs of it all, under their buys

Typically, a secondary price break assures primary strike. But, primary is near. Typically not worth waiting for unless hoping to see the buyback/rating game at primary price. Got to stay above it today

Some prefer the divergence low as an exit, and look for somewhere to add in-between

up to each as they say

It's the easiest gauge method i could think of for gerbils

i suppose you could hope for the buyback programme to kick in hard around there. But in most instances, thats rarely enough anyway given fundamental sets. See there but im sure buyback numbers go up around there and maybe a friendly upgrade from a broker as those are the prices they try to help at
