Been the typical easy range for longs and shorts

But a check on fundamentals plus eps forecasts etc, doesnt allow this back out.

I forget what allowed it to spike X2 but fundamentals kicked back in, and will in range again.

Quick look at the chart..Today we closed above the previous high of 76pNext stop 84p then onto 90p8ma just broken through the 34ma.which are the two I like to use and this looks positive to.me .. Support at 69p

Ad revenues are not down, they are up.

"Total advertising revenue up 3% in Q1, with strong momentum into Q2, expected to be up around 12%; H1 expected to be up around 8%"

Spoke to my journo friend lunchtime, numbers have not set fire but are pleasing tothe City.

I will add after my chat, seems a couple of papers are making lists of the FTSE companies undervalued by 50% or more and ITV are on it. If there are a couple of desks writing about how cheap the UK is, bet your money that more will follow.

It won't be news to the savvy ones visting this thread to read that ITV is tipped as a takeover, but we know that it has been on the back burner of the biggest of the bunch for a while now.

Buy these at 75p....buying pound notes for 75p is smart!!!

If you think the FTSE100 is on a good run, see what happens on the 22 May, when April inflation figures are released. I'm not saying bet the farm, but if you haven't got available cash you may wish to consider selling your left kidney or your Granny.
The US release their next inflation figures next Wednesday (15) which may help/upset things.
The famous saying "sell in May, come back at St Ledger) - you would be mad/brave to do that this year.
