2 x 5mw Electrolysers 🤔

Industrial gas major Messer will develop a 10MW green hydrogen plant in Brainergy Park Jülich, Germany.

HyDN GmbH will operate the hydrogen plant, a joint venture between the district Düren and Messer, and it is expected to boast a production capacity of up to 180kg of hydrogen per hour, making it the “largest” production facility in Germany.

The plant is scheduled to become operational in the fall of 2025, with NEUMAN & ESSER to provide two electrolysers for hydrogen production and two diaphragm compressors for pressurising the hydrogen

As far as I am aware, the benefits of green hydrogen have been expounded here, relentlessly, but Profitability for individual projects... this is not clear.

What about Inflation. What is it?

Just trying to narrow down the reasons behind our Reservations.

Are they unable to commit due to difficulties predicting profitability, over time? As in between now and when it is completed... think recent SAF plant slow down.
